- Lamar Miller is listed below Steve Slaton. This is good for Slaton, and a sign that just maybe we keep 4 RBs.
- Kheeston Randall is listed as Soliai's primary backup. Is this guy for real? If so it's a super 7th round selection.
- Josh Kaddu is listed as third behind Misi and Trusnik. This is clearly our weakest position in the front seven. I thought his athleticism would give him an edge over Misi, but it hasn't translated yet.
- Vontae Davis is behind Marshall. This is clearly a motivational technique, we'll see how he responds.
- Jimmy Wilson is behind Clemons. I'd love for him to overtake Clemons by week one.
- Clyde Gates is listed third behind Bess and BLANK. That combined with being listed fourth on KO tells me he's not making the team without dramatic improvement.
- Clay is second, this is good for his progress. Egnew is fourth, this is a sign he's done next to nothing in camp. I really wish we had taken a WR with that 3rd rounder. _________________ Earn more sessions by sleeving. |

Was surprised with where they've got Kheeston as well! Could be VERY promising!
I think the main battle remains at QB... Not sure what to think of Gerrard being listed as starter when all the talk and prelim numbers of all three show Tanny rating highest.
We shall see tho... This is just the first listing and as you said... some of these could be for motivational purposes only!
Things will definitely change for some of these before day one. _________________

It means nothing to be honest. I will start paying attention after the 2nd game.

Still surprising to me that Garrard is #1 QB at the moment. But what I've heard is that he's impressing in camp and is running Philbin's offense well. Honestly if he can return to the level he was with the Jaguars he'll make a good bandaid Quarterback while we groom Tannehill. Plus, Garrard has always been a class guy and I think he'd fit the mentor role well.
One thing that is hugely surprising to me is Richard Marshall being put ahead Vontae Davis.
Excited to see all our guys play in Preseason. _________________ With much cheese,

How is it people can post this crap when it's released but next to no one actually comments on anything day in and day out... |

On the Dolphins' depth chart Richard Marshall and NOT Vontae Davis is listed as the starter. On field today it was reversed. _________________

Game 1 (season) I expect this:
QB:
R. Tannehill
M.Moore
D.Garrad
RB:
R. Bush
D.Thomas/Miller ( depend on downs and such, etc )
" / "
S. Slaton
WR:
C. Johnson
D. Bess
L. Naannee
B. Hartline
Marlon Moore
TE:
A. Fasano
M. Egnew
C. Clay
Line is good, Def is pretty good but I want Davis and and Marshall starting and Smith next. Safties are fine I guess even though I don't like Clemons. Jones will be in the air this year. |

I'm thinking he means that preseason will change everything. I agree. |

Vonte Davis still has not taken one rep as a second team yet some of his work has been in the slot maybe making him more scheme diversed? Reports are he is still having a good camp and was working as the starter on the boundry today with marshall in the slot. I think this part of the team is going to be a strength. Marshall is very solid. |

I think so as well. CB should be strong, but Safety could be questionable. If that's the case, the corners are, undoubtedly, going to take a lot of blame for big plays that are, in fact, the fault of the safeties. I am also certain that Vontae will be a starter. Not even a question in my mind. Marshall is good and all, but not good enough to beat out Vontae. _________________ "22 players are involved in every football play.
