Season ending laziness. Simple as that.
Look at the desire and drive Thomas Davis has shown to get back on the field and even tho he's nicked up again he's still got it. Otah was not sure when he'd be back WTF?! He's had long enough to think about it.

This is all hinged on laziness. The Panthers pratically gave Otah the year off last year, by putting him on IR, to basically get healthy and get in shape. I remember an explicit interview with Hurney about this.
Apparently, he sat on the couch, played xBox, and ate too many Hot Pockets.
