It's that time of the year again ladies and gents.
What better way to start the thread off with a comment on Blount.
http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/5854/legarrette-blount
| Quote: | | Blount reportedly showed a "lack of commitment" last season, consistently showing up late to meetings and sometimes falling asleep in them. He appears to have been woken up by the addition of first-rounder Doug Martin and the arrival of the notoriously rigid Schiano. "LeGarrette has bought into what we're doing, he's working incredibly hard, and if you watch and you see the things he does from time to time, it's great — really great running back play," the coach said. |

Tyrone McKenzie is the Training Camp GOAT
We already lost Bowers, I'm just hoping that we can stay relatively healthy this summer. Other than WR (and maybe RB - debatable), we don't really have enough quality depth. _________________

| Training camp started yesterday and there were no updates. I guess we have to wait till Friday(the public practice) for reports? What a bummer. |

^Almost positive the Bucs report on Friday. Im sure there will be daily updated once things get going.
Im really excited, I just cant wait to see all these guys in action. The night practice on the 4th should also be very entertaining.
About Blount. Unless he reverts to his old ways, I predict that most likely to happen once Martin is named the starter, I think he will be fine and a 1, 2 punch on this team for years to come. He has a lot to offer, he just needs to mature. Maybe Schiano and Martin are exactly what he needed for a reality check. Its what he does now thats important though. I do expect Martin to be the starter come week 1, but with Blount this seems more that just about who starts. He wants to be a contributor on a the team and knows he has to work hard to earn that. Even as the #2, in a run heavy offense, Blount will get his touches. _________________

I hope Blunt got better at pass catching and pass blocking.
Im also very excited about the Offense, its looking like it could put up some decent numbers this year.
Season cant get here fast enough |

Actually, the vets report TODAY......YEA!!! The full squad training camp begins Friday. I hope that everybody reports in healthy, at the proper weight and all in good shape. Next, I hope nobody has any injuries in TC, however usually something happens to someone during those 2 weeks.
Now, let the position battles and the competition begin. |

| Quote: | Bucs LT Donald Penn will miss "several weeks" of training camp with a calf strain.
Penn got hurt working out in Los Angeles and notified the club before he reported. "Not sure exactly how long that will be (or) keep him from participating," coach Greg Schiano said. "... Maybe a couple weeks and we'll play it by ear." As long as Penn is healthy for a preseason game or two, the Bucs should be fine. They have the potential to field one of the NFL's top offensive lines. |
Rest him until he is 100%. I don't care if he doesn't play in one preseason game... we need him healthy! _________________

Agreed. We have no depth at OT. Hell, we only have one good OT as it is. Don't bring him back until HE says he's 100%. _________________
