Not a fan. Very overcontrasted and text is too focalized. Sorry man

It has potential.
the text is nice. Love the position and font .

IMO this is what I would do (assuming youre using photoshop):

Arrow Lower the opacity of the yellow layer (i think its on pin light?); then selective erasing over some areas of the text and the player. You want the player to pop from the BG.
Arrow Add in a contrast/brightness adjustment layer to try and reduce the over-saturation. Play with the settings.
Arrow Add a charcoal gray/white gradient map. Put one on multiply (like 30% opacity) then another map on either Lighten or screen (again, low opacity)
Arrow Spot lighting: add a layer, fill it with black, put on screen, then with a soft brush on low opacity add some spots to help put more visual focus on the player. then play around with gaussian blur to even it out. .

I didnt go in depth because I dont think you know what your doing. But i just wanted to make sure my thoughts came across clearer. I hated when people would critique my work here back in the day and just write "Lighting" or "Text". Ish was rude and unhelpful.
