I was hoping to have him on the roster come opening day as a reserve. That's what he was going to be on this depth chart and the way we need to see this release. I'm sad, I felt we were a better ball club with him but it's nice that we gave him a shot to start somewhere else.

| Not particularly sad to see him go, considering his injury history, but liked the price tag he was playing at. I hope this means VM is finally able to grab, and hold onto, that starting spot! |

I don't think Wade 'made' him good. Sure he played his best when Wade was the DC here, but I don't think Wade leaving was the reason he fell off. His injuries in 2006/2007 basically reduced him from one of the best linemen in the game to a fringe starter. |

He got to be an attacking DE. Look at JJ Watt (not saying Watt wouldn't succeed elsewhere, Wade is just using him like he did with Castillo it seems) |

Too bad it's due to injuries....
