So since this forumhasn't been super active, I thought we should play a game to get excited for the start of training camp!
Game is really simple. You propose a situation (ie Scott Shanle will make 100 tackles) and other members of the forum will buy(if it's realistic) or sell(Not probable). After, anyone else can propose their own situation.
So I'll throw out a few:
1.) Drew Brees will have similar numbers to last year.
2.) Curtis Lofton will have better numbers than any year with the Falcons.
3.) Malcolm Jenkins reaches 10 INTs.
4.) We have a D-linemen with 10+ sacks (say who if you believe it)
5.) Graham and Colston BOTH break 1000 yards.
6.) Sproles breaks 1500 all purpose yards
7.) We are ranked top-10 in both offense and defense at the end of the year

1. Sell...I don't see any QBs playing like they did last season. I truly believe that it was a bit of a fluke year with the lockout and Brees already being very good. I suspect an average Brees year. 4300-4500.
2. Push...I think he will look about the same, I don't see any real break out potential for him.
3. Sell...Jenkins will have 3-5 INTs in this new scheme. I feel that without a doubt. But 10? Jenkins is not Ed Reed. No matter the scheme.
4. Buy...Junior is going to go NUTS THIS SEASON!
5. Buy...providing they both stay healthy, this is an easy buy. They are the two main targets in the passing game.
6. Buy...I think he will crush that number, but fall well short of the record he just set. I think he will top 2000 again.
7. Sell...I think we are Top 3 with Offense (shocker), but middle of the pack on defense, maybe low teens. I think the defense will see a big improvement, but not enough to push us into the elite areas.
NSF's Buy or Sells:
1. Colston turns in a year that finally nets him a Pro Bowl
2. Roman Harper has 5 INTs
3. Junior Gallette finishes the season Top 10 in sacks
4. Jimmy Graham has a better statistical season than Rob Gronkowski
5. Saints finish with 12 (or more) wins. _________________

I'm not sure if i was supposed to do the buy/sell thing on both, so i just did NSF for now. If anything i'll just go back and do the other ones.
1. Buy. The only reason Colston didn't make the Pro Bowl last year was his injury, it kept him from achieving elite reciever numbers, although he was darn well close. It's in the bag this year.
2. Sell. Really? That's more than he's had in his NFL career. Although i really wish.
3. Is there some sort of nuetral option? It could go either way. I'm hoping for a huge year, but i'm still debating on how likely it is.
4. Buy. I think Graham will be getting the ball for something like 1/3 - 1/2 of the passing plays.
5. Buying again. I think it will be 13, but that's more than twelve.
Buy or Sell:
1. The Saints will be the first team in the NFC South to repeat as champs since the division came to be as we know it today (2002).
2. The Saints will be either the No. 1 or No. 2 seed in the NFC.
3. The Saints will lead the league in the turnover differential.
4. One of the Saints running backs will break the 1000 rushing yard mark.
5. The Saints will sweep the NFC South.
6. The offense will finish 1st in yards per game, averaging over 35 points a game.
7. Patrick Robinson says "Tracy Porter who?", picking off 5 passes and establishing himself as a shutdown corner.
8. The Saints will win the Super Bowl in their own backyard, by at least two touchdowns.
**BONUS** - This isn't just about the Saints, but 3 NFC South teams will make the playoffs. _________________

1. Sell - lockout help offenses way too much
2. buy - I just have a feeling
3. sell - 6-7 is as far as I see for Jenkins
4. sell - 6-8 a piece, but no one player at 10
5. buy- really have to ask?
6. buy- better than 1500 of course
7. sell - somewhere between 1-5 on offense, and about 12-15 defense
NSFs
1. buy - Hes that good can not be held out this long
2. sell - You have to have coverage skills to have the ball come to you
3. sell - close but no cigar
4. buy - he almost did it last season
5. push - Im not jinxing anything
SaintsBeast
1. buy - also good feeling
2. sell - to many technical SOS in the playoffs
3. sell - not enough playmakers on Defense
4. sell - too crowded of a backfield
5. sell - always a close race
6. sell - Coach Payton is not coaching so wont be played so aggressive
7. buy
8. wont jinx sorry
# Bonus #
1. Shanle is cut before regular season starts
2. 2013 draft pick(s) are traded before end of 2012 season
3. Chase Daniels plays in a game this season |

1. Sell. Spags apparently likes Shanle, and if Vilma stays suspended, Shanle will get some serious playing time.
2. Sell. This management is really big on player chemistry. I don't think they are bringing anyone else in.
3. Buy. Preseason is a game right?
1. Martez Wilson has more sacks than Cam Jordan as DE.
2. Harper has similar number of INTs and Sacks.
3. Bushrod goes to the probowl.
4. One of the WR rookies (AA, Toon or Morgan) breaks 5 TDs this season. (specify who if you buy) _________________

I didn't read the thread, so forgive me if there are repeats.
1) Buy, I see Cam continuing to be a run-stopping DE primarily, while Wilson will be primarily a pass rusher.
2) Sell, I think he will have a few more sacks than INTs
3) Push, Brees always makes the OTs look better than they are, same way all the elite QBs do.
4) Buy, if we include special team TDs, I think Morgan could do it. I hope we put him back there on KR and let Spoles continue PRs.
Mine:
1) Sproles, Graham and Colston will combine for 3000 receiving yards.
2) Galette and Wilson will combine for 15 sacks.
3) Brees will finally win the elusive MVP award. _________________

| Sell. Last year he shattered the passing record. It was an up year for passers because of the lockout. Quote: |
2.) Curtis Lofton will have better numbers than any year with the Falcons.
| Sell. The Saints current LB corp (and Harper) are better than the Falcons, and they will steal tackles from Lofton. Quote: |
3.) Malcolm Jenkins reaches 10 INTs.
| Sell. Not in Jenkins wildest dreams. One would be a start. Quote: |
4.) We have a D-linemen with 10+ sacks (say who if you believe it)
| Buy. But this is assuming that you categorize Wilson as a DE/LB. Quote: |
5.) Graham and Colston BOTH break 1000 yards.
| Buy. I would actually be surprised if this doesn't happen. It will only not happen if an injury would occur. Quote: |
6.) Sproles breaks 1500 all purpose yards
| Buy. I think that he did that by midseason last year. He would match last year stats but he will still get 1750+. Quote: |
7.) We are ranked top-10 in both offense and defense at the end of the year
| Sell. The Saints offense puts up too many points, so opponents are going to have to put up points to keep up. |

lol. you do know that Brees has had over 400 completions the last few years. That means that Graham is going to get from 150-200 catches next season. I think that he will get closer to 1/4 of the catches. Colston with another 1/4. Then the rest of the team gets the other 1/2. |
