Yeah ive played BF2 for countless hours. Ive actually been palying it alot recently and its still really fun to play.

Lost planet was garbage, i bought the first one for 5 bucks almost 2 years after it came out and i went back and demanded my money.
Battlefront 3 is going to be so dope if they stay true to the 2nd and just improve graphics, features and weapons. That's about all that needs to be done to second one besides adding new stories and missions. BF2 blew COD out of the water IMO, and with new graphics and combat mechanics i bet it'll do it again

I never liked being the heroes/villains, either. I usually just ended up screwing something up. 
Played as the infantry characters to get all the achievements and unlock all the weapons. That was a ton of fun.
I think my favorite level was Hoth. |

Maybe that wasn't the right phrase. I was just talking about all the upgraded weapons you automatically start with if you've gotten everything leveled up to elite (right? been a while since I've played).

Battlefront was definitely a very promising franchise, I can't believe they abandoned it the way they did. If they do make a sequel I wonder if they are going to use the unreleased version as a building block.

Oh i was gonna say i had no idea about unlockable weapons. But yeah your right you have to get frenzy, and the shotgun sniper things a bunch of times and you get an upgrade.

Yeah it doesnt need that much boosting, and id take BF2 over COD any day.

Does anyone have a favorite special character. Boba Fett for me is the most fun, but Darth Maul is easily the best in terms of how good a charcter is.

Bummer this isn't happening. SWBF & SWBF II were my favorite games on PS2.
I was the king of mines and would irk everyone who played.
Best heroes were Darth Maul & Rayla Secura (her pulling skills + dual sabers were unfair).

Super Battle Droids in battlefield 1
completely overpowered one man killing machines, even launched Jedi characters airborne with their wrist rockets
get some Droidekas rolling it that bunch with their shields up too and you win all the time

Yeah im not gonna hold my breathe. But Lucas Arts bought the trademark for Star Wars "1313" which is apparently an alias for Boba Fett. If a game is made about Boba Fett id cry tears of joy. |
There was a PS2 game called Bouny Hunter, featuring Jango Fett.
It was absolutely amazing. Still wish I had my PS2.  lol (jk, gave it away to charity)
Battlefront 3 would be soooooo sick!

please don't try to "get with the times" in this game. Just add new and more comprehensive missions, new playable characters, add the ability to toggle the amount of faction lives and of course use the modern graphics engines
That's all this game needs to blow COD and BF out of the water, it did back in it's day IMO. Can't wait, first time i've truly anticipated a video game since skyrim....and i'm actually more excited about this.
Bring back the hoth level and the walker mission 
EDIT: Kind of repeated myself...thought this was a newer thread
