I agree. I also don't think it should be its own draft. Should be included in the regular draft so you have to gauge the value compared to other players. Since that is not an option, I too will go with 3. But this doesn't take effect until after next season correct? |
Exactly. We would keep 6 after next year if option 3 passed. |
Not gonna pass cuz people realizing they aren't happy with keepers etc.
Voting should just stop. Pointless

People want to raise the keepers to six, now its just because its after next years draft so teams with tons of draft picks increase there talents.
Seriously guys this is getting messed up bye the second like I said sticking with one because it makes the most sense we don't need to add more keepers there are enough players protected already with 5.
Next it will be 17 protect on each team and we will draft only 5 rounds every year one thing good about it no one would be trading away a ton of extra players they can't keep and most teams would still have rosters threw out!

To be perfectly honest, I've traded players away all year and I'd vote for a 6th keeper right now. Hell, I want 7. Two of the guys I'd like to keep weren't even drafted in the first couple rounds this past draft. Sure, higher picks give you a better shot... but if you're confident in your ability to judge talent, that shouldn't be an issue. My draft isn't great either. I want 6 keepers because I like the idea of actually having a TEAM from year to year rather than just a couple of guys.

Check that.... I have 8 guys I want to keep. My obvious 5, then Salvador Perez (dude honestly might threaten to be one of my 5), Matt Latos (Heee's Baaaaack!), Dan Haren (bum).

Then suggest options, that is why it is set up the way it is. The option that was originally given was found unacceptable even to the people that want a farm system. The options for #3 are not listed yet, what's the difference?
