Odd....

His recruitment will be wild... From what I've heard he is pretty immature, not a lot of kids commit to a out of state school without visisting.

Alex Anzalone to decide within the week between PSU, ND, & UF

We didn't violate NCAA rules. Not even trying to say we did stuff right, but I don't see sanctions.

If they can connect the emails to Joe, then there could be sanctions. Nothing huge, LOIC & Death Penalty are off the table if you read the rules. And it's been said that Joe didn't even use email at the time either, so the entire thing could be BS about Joe "advising" Curley. Could.

Why the hell should they get sanctions?

What is "Lack of institutional control" if not the institution allowing a coach to rape little boys?

There is also an NCAA code on Morality... Which could come into play in this case if it will anywhere.

probably should stop going down this road in this thread.

NCAA did say they had interest in seeing if LOIC should be used in this matter though a while ago.

The NCAA does not govern criminal matters. Period.
Even if it's proven that Paterno covered up anything (which if he did, would make no sense to report it and have Spanier consult legal advice in the first place) no NCAA violation occurred.
And don't cite the moral bylaw either, since the NCAA statute of limitations is 4 years unless the act affected a players eligibility (which this did not). Not to mention they would have to come down on Mizzou football for their HC getting arrested for drinking and driving (unless you want to argue that's not immoral), Syracuse for Bernie Fine, Arkansas for Petrino's acts, etc.
In short: PSU's problem was administrative and criminal - two things that don't involve the NCAA as others have mentioned.
Anyways, a couple of you may know I had some insight on Anzalone's decommitment from Ohio State. From what I know, it's down to ND and PSU with Florida in 3rd. A week ago I would've said all ND. But I don't have insight as to how his visit went at Penn State this past weekend. I do know that he didn't intend to announce this early and wanted to slow things down. So either he was blown away at Penn State and accepted into their MBA program, or it wasn't enough to away him from ND and the negative pub this past weekend helped him make up his mind for ND.
If I learn any more before before his decision I'll share, but I think those around him will keep quiet until the announcement.

Now that letter, an investigation and the possibility of NCAA sanction don't seem so outrageous. Based on the CNN report alone, Emmert has his proof that -- in his words --"individuals with present or former administrative or coaching responsibilities may have been aware of this behavior." He has proof that Penn State as a living, breathing, enabling institution -- an administrative monster itself -- violated NCAA Bylaw 10.1, which deals with ethical conduct.

It helps if you offer Mackerno and yes I do see them at the same school. I think it comes down to the Florida schools and Clemson but this dude's recruitment has been wild so I would t count anyone out.

I would hope he's still considering Tennessee after what he did to us and we have also offered Mackenro. However I don't see either committing to us. Mackenro plays S anyways and we have had 2 4* S's in this and last year's class and we are one of the 2 front runners for Vonn Bell so Mackenro would have to convert or probably not get any time on the field.
