Alright well instead of bombarding the random game talk thread with the talk of GT5 I figured we could start a thread. Specifically for once we start doing some FF races but obviously to talk about our careers in offline mode as well. For anyone with GT5 that is interested MrDrew, steelcurtain29 and myself have been talking about getting some FF races going this weekend.
I just won the '89 MINOLTA Toyota 88C-V after winning both Like the Wind races and my lord is this car fast and takes corners like a champ. _________________

The PS3 I have now is one of the first ones to come out. Its been through 2 deployments in Iraq(possibly more) and is still kicking. Although it likes to act funky every now and then. Sometimes there won't be any disk in it and it will have the blue light one like it does or usually it has the disk but wont read it unless I give the PS3 a little "love tap" .
Iv always loved the game but couldn't really get into much in Iraq because every time I played it I had to install it to the PS3, but since I've been back it doesn't do it anymore . This is the first time Iv really gotten really really into since I got back though so im still far behind most everyone on here.

I realized why I haven't been playing the game much lately. I have the endurance races left, and I keep falling asleep at the wheel on long races. No chance I can do B-Spec either.
So what night are we all racing? _________________

Dude, I would do B-Spec while doing something else. Playing CPU games, going out of my house, going to bed, etc.
My A-Spec is only 26. My B-Spec is almost 39 _________________ Come Follow My Oakland Multi-Sport Franchise! |

I thought you actually had to pay attention to it, tell them when to pit, etc? _________________

Mine was a 1st gen console. Lasted a long time. Might still be fixable for a short time. _________________

In some cases, yes. In the case where you're in races wear your car is dominant, no.
Once I got the Red Bull Vettel, it became unfair. I literally had the 9 hour race run for B-Spec while I was at work today. I won the race by over 500 laps
I noticed they now give you extra bonus EXP and Credits for every consecutive day you're logged in? When did this start?! _________________ Come Follow My Oakland Multi-Sport Franchise! |

Well over a year old if I remember correctly, I haven't seen it since the beginning of last year and I didn't feel like digging for a year old thread. _________________

Whats the best cars to buy for around 5mil Cr.?
I thought about buying the 787B because It was probably my favorite car in GT4 to use but I kind of figure its probably extremely similar to my Toyota 88C-V anyways.
Thought about getting the FGT, but heard its tough to control? _________________

The FGT isn't hard to handle. It oversteers a little because it sticks so well, but that's not hard to get used to.
The 787B is such a cool car. I haven't had it in the game, but seriously, what's cooler than a Rotary race car? _________________

I haven't played this game in ages it was a bit of a let down and once you get $20 million or whatever it is buying cars doesn't have the same fun involved. _________________
