That was under a different team and is not there anymore.

And swagger was just a confidence type attribute and had no real effect on the game. There are many reasons not to like or play Madden, but I dont get that one.

Just shared an opinion. You don't have to get it or agree with it.

You must be new here

Oh look...."Mighty" Joe chiming in about me for no apparent reason again.

Seriously dude...youve proven you are obsessed with me time and time again, but you should try to get a handle on it. Its not healthy.

OK "Four" Three. I'm not obsessed with you, you're just bad with banter.

If that makes you feel better, you can tell yourself that. Pretty obvious you are though.

Obsession is spending a huge portion of time posting on a message board and giving your opinion of every post that is made by everyone. Sometimes, even if they agree with you, you find a way to argue with them.

Me now and then having a dig at you isn't really obsession. It's a laugh getting your reaction which is why I do it. Obsessed with getting a reaction, not with you.

1) No, thats not obsessed at all...its a hobby. And this is a message board....sharing opinions is what keeps this place running.

2) I wasnt arguing this time. I was on topic, yet you still jumped in and took a shot. And that has happened alot.

3) Yes...you are obsessed with getting a reaction...from me. See..you have to "take digs" to get my attention. Me...I dont have to post anything directed at you to be in your head. I have a permanent residence there.

4) Congrats...you just admitted to being a troll. No shock there.

Then, me getting a reaction is just a hobby. You can argue and be on topic. It's not you specifically, anyone will do, you're just the easiest and you aren't in my head, think you're blowing the significance of this site in my life out of proportion a little bit. I never denied it.

I like playing madden a lot, but there is really no way to emulate what the steelers do defensively in the game. They dont differentiate between 4-3 DEs and 3-4 DEs at all. They also dont take into account the differences between Dts like Casey Hampton vs ratliff in the 3-4, or the two of them vs a tackle like ngata. The game definitely could improve a lot, but like someone else said EA is the only company that can make football video games with NFL likeness, and they have gotten lazy. The "improvements each year are nothing but minor changes that rarely have any glaring positive impact on the game, and theyre out of the game completely within a year or two.

swagger was a rating that effected how you would celebrate a TD.. that is all

Well Madden has brand new managment ( the guys from NHL series ) and that has me pretty pumped to see what they can do.. Ian Cummings ( the previous director ) did nothing in the last 6 years so change is welcome... As far a my D in madden right now I use a bear front with 3-3-5 personell and mix in man and zone blitzes from the same look. D in madden is all about getting a unblocked rusher because J. Harrison will never beat the LT 1on1 in less than 3.5 seconds. The bear front occupys the guards and center and allows alot of creativity with your pass rush...

I really hope next year I can run the 3-4 ( and 2-4-5 ) effectivly.. if anyone has any 3-4 ideas or wants some more breakdown on the Bear in madden hit me up on xbox live : grimmagician87

Fair enough.

Only reason I questioned it was because it really had no impact on the game. But I do agree they spend way too much time on gimmicks instead of improving the actual game.

As long as presentation looks good (as in, before the game comes out), thats all they care about. Thats all they have ever cared about.

They couldn't give a rats [inappropriate/removed] about the actual gameplay, or certain things. They keep the game EXTREMELY limited in all your options (Practice Squad? Out of game Subs? Now you can't even edit your players anymore lol) and produce an absolute joke of a game.

I'm considering not buying it. Not atleast until you can edit your players, and add out of game substitutions like they had in PS2.

Its sad how far behind Madden is to 2k5. Maybe this new team knows whats up, but thats unlikely.
