I love what [UMN] did with the Vikes, major props are due thee. However, were there trades and free agency in this mock? I'd love to know, because the one thing I noticed was that he didn't take a receiver and took an OT in the 3rd... _________________

Players that are set to be free agents in 2013 were simply kept on their current team for simplicity. Teams were allowed to sign players that were cut by other teams, however. And yes, there were lots of trades. _________________

Thanks man a lot of trades were made but I felt like we got what we needed

Ha yea a lot don't I mean I didn't I just looked up the players that I think we needed. As for Powell I felt like in the 6th round he was worth a shot at even though we did get a OLB early in the draft. _________________

VCP disappeared, so BDP took over the team. _________________

Thanks
Was a little dissapointed not to upgrade the SS position in the draft, but Most bases got covered, Simon at 91 I couldnt pass on, his engine and work ethic really impresses me, plus with Avrils future in the air, KVB getting on, and Lo-Jack being a FA had to get another developmental pass rusher in Wes Horton who could thrive in our scheme. _________________

I think I'd prefer Brandon Jenkins in 1.
Ball with the pick from Oakland.
Jelani Jenkins or Reddick at 50. |
I'm not a fan either. I would like Trufant in 2nd over him in 1st. I like Dyer in the 2nd too. |
Mathieu would play a rover position for us, going anywhere from a CF-FS type position, to slot CB, to playing the LOS. Small or not, the kid plays like he's 6' 220 lbs.
Past that, you'd have to see some trades to be able to make an accurate decision on how the draft went. I landed Osi Umenyiora and Ahmad Bradshaw via trade, along with Arrelious Benn and I signed Bart Scott and Marcus McNeill as a veteran stop-gap and back-up T, respectively. _________________

I like the C pick for the Skins. And addressing the secondary. It was not a bad draft all around for Washington. _________________

33. Atlanta Falcons (via/Car, via/Cle) Marquess Wilson WR Washington State
Ok i am now completly confused on this pick. Did we not just blow a ton of picks to move up for julio jones and we still have roddy and Harry locked up for quite a few more years and all 3 should be playing at a high level for awhile still.
Jones i don't mind the pick at all as i love still working on the OL. Clabo, Jones, Konz, Blalock is more than fine for a OL for me and throw in a good FA LT and im set for awhile.
But the WR pick just doesn't make sense to me in this draft even more so trading up for him and giving alot of picks away. _________________

Would prefer a Safety before a 4th round, but rest is pretty good. _________________
