I apologize for no further installments, yet. This week has been pretty hectic, considering I just graduated. Sleep until 2, work until 10, party until 3 has been my schedule the past two-three days. I'll definitely have #19 up by tomorrow afternoon. _________________

Nonetheless, he was a 5-time Pro Bowler and a 2-time First-Team All-Pro.
Bergey played on some really bad teams. The Eagles had 20 wins in his first four seasons.
He played with a pretty poor supporting cast, too.
He is already better than Jerome Brown and probably five more guys on the list.
So, are we in for 17 guys from Buddy Ryan on with a couple of old timers for good measure? |
Probably. But it's his list and everything is debatable. Considering career, Bergey should be higher than Brown. But Brown's impact in just a few seasons was pretty remarkable. But let the list play out first. Bergey could land in there. |
He already had Bergey listed as an "honorable mention." |

#19: DE Trent Cole (2005-present)
Drafted in the 5th round of the 2005 NFL Draft; who would've thought Trent Cole would turn into the player he is today? During his rookie season, Cole racked up five sacks, which was quite impressive considering he only started three games that season. He continued to showcase his pass rushing skills early the next season as he accumulated five sacks within the first four games. In November of the 2006 season, Cole and the Eagles agreed on a five-year contract extension which would keep him in Philadelphia until the 2013 season.
After signing his extension, Cole brokeout in 2007 with a career high 12.5 sacks, while also appearing in his first Pro Bowl. Along with the 12.5 sacks, he also compiled 70 tackles, which lead all defensive ends in the NFC. Over the next few years, Cole would emerge as one of the most lethal pass rushers in the NFL.
Cole is more than just a pass rusher, he has been the heart and soul of the Philadelphia Eagles' defense since the departure of Brian Dawkins, another Eagle on this list. He is known for giving it his all, play after play; and also playing with tremendous motivation. He is the type of player any coach would be happy to have play for him. Currently ranked third among the all time Philadelphia Eagles sack leaders, Cole will surely move his way up and challenge Reggie White for the lead as he still has a couple of seasons left in the tank. Right now, Cole is at #19, but if he stays consistent over the next few years, he could definitely find himself move up a few spots.
Accomplishments:
-1x All Pro
-2x Pro Bowl

TRENT IS THE MAN! Dude is a rock of a player, he has been one the most consistent , toughest , most determined players week in week out. He simple produces on all fronts both against the run and pass at the leagues 2nd most demanding position(with quarterback being #1). He is the guy in that lockerroom and amongst his peers, that every one looks to and says "thats how the game should be played". _________________

Trent top 20 all time...all i can do is lol. He is a good player and all, but the dude never comes up big when we need him and seems to be shut down by top tier LTs. Not worth the top 20 list IMO, this franchise is one of the oldest and trent shouldn't make the list. I think heart and soul is stretching it as well, he was just the veteran of the group but he isn't even close to a leader of the defense. I love him and I love his all out mantra, but just no to top 20 all time. _________________ Meow |
