I would have benched Rodgers but I guess you can pray that Julio has a monster game. _________________

You would have lost.
I need 50 points out of Matt Ryan, Roddy, and Weatherspoon. _________________

For anyone that cares, I just won the championship in one of my leagues after tonight's games. It was a pretty epic playoff series all the way through and I made it out from the #3 seed as the victor.
In my other league I just narrowly advanced to the championship game where my opponent was clearly hoping for a better game from LeSean McCoy (4 points) and the Texans defense versus Indy (5 points). I won by 3 but was also killed by Lance Ball's crappy game. _________________

Good luck in the championship, I feel as if we have had the best two teams all year, so its good we both made it to the ship _________________

I figured it would come down to this....y'know, considering I had the best team all along and it was your league so you could make sure you made it this far.
But I won't be taking it easy on you this round...

You def had a better team than your record indicates. You scored the second most points this year, behind me of course
Fun fact: I lost 3 games this year. Two of them were to you _________________

So you just ask all of the individual team forums for advice and then regurgitate it to the masses with your name on it? I see how it is.
I kid, I kid. Following this thread.
EDIT: I'm an idiot.

I am in a 16 team keeper league and I have to keep 2 players. I was part of and expansion draft last season and drafted Megatron as my first expansion pick and Ryan Mathews as my second. I got a lot of flack for drafting RM over players like Hillis, Moreno and Peyton Manning. Who's laughing now That being said those would be my 2 keepers but I worked and early season trade for CJ2K. So here's my question. I know I am keeping Megatron but my 2nd keeper is a question.
CJ2K is in the lead right now because he is a proven stud back. I feel like CJ is going to have a huge bounce back year and show everyone that last year was a fluke. I love players with chips on their shoulders and something to prove.
RM is riding the hype machine, which I have seen before and have never bit. I think he does have the talent to be an elite NFL back but there are a lot of durability questions/ fumbling questions I have about him. RM is 2 years younger and doesnt have as many miles as CJ does. So you see my dilemma. Who would you keep and why? _________________

This isn't actually my 2012 advice thread (which will be up soon) but I'll answer you question since you asked!
I'd personally rather have CJ. You know he has #1 overall potential and, like you said, he's coming with something to prove this season. Honestly I'd rather have him than MJD for this season. Ryan Mathews still has yet to prove he can bring that type of ceiling. _________________

Chris Johnson is very polarizing this year. I personally love him as a player and his style, but I think he is already regressing and just don't see him getting back to his previous form. I am also in a keeper league, have the first pick in the redraft and oddly enough, one of the owners must choose between CJ2K and Ryan Mathews, and I'm hoping he keeps CJ2K. _________________

Sometimes you have to make decisions ahead of the curve. If we all played it safe you would never win a fantasy title. Ryan Matthews has everything going in his favor. Mark him as an injury risk but given Norv Turner's history of supreme fantasy talents I think Matthews is a top 5 RB this season. Of course its forecasting and he has not done it before but take his stats from last season, hope he stays healthy and subtract Mike Tolbert's presence equals a top 5 statistical campaign in 2012. |
