Like previously mentioned, it's mainly to increase ratings that they say things like this to generate hits and views.

I wonder if Skip Bayless has trademarked the irrational sensational comment?

I dont know why people hate Skip Bayless so much.

It's because he a pompous, yet mindless, idiot who doesn't know anything about the topics he claims to have an opinion on.

Keeping it strictly on football (and not on Lebron) he said it was a bad decision for Dallas to keep T.O. for so long and when he was cut he predicted Dallas would win the NFC East title in the offseason and beat Philly Week 16 and in the playoffs when everyone else laughed at him. He may be wrong about some things but he also predicted Tebow's run in Denver, making many other analysts look dumb.

That title of " idiot who doesn't know anything about the topics" belongs to someone else.

No, it really doesn't. Bayless intentionally plays the contrarian solely for the sake of keeping viewers because he knows that the more outlandish his ignorant nonsense is, the more viewers it will attract. If you actually listen to his "analysis" of the game, he consistently proves that he doesn't know anything about the sport. He just blows a lot of hot air.

I listened to what he said about Tebow last year and how he should have been starting for the Broncos and I heard him be right on the money about the Cowboys in 09, especially once T.O. left. So he just took these points just to be different and to spew ignorance? I agree that he sometimes make outlandish statements but what other analysts don't?

Guess we have to agree to disagree

So, you remember two instances where he was correct because he simply took an opposing position to another analyst. But what about every other time when he's wrong? People conveniently forget the times when a person is wrong and only pay attention when they get one right.

Always remember this: even a broken clock is right twice a day.

I like watching espn and nfln simply for the humor. Its like stand up...and when was the last time anyone really had anything positive to say about the Dallas Cowboys...and up till now they are right. They have the talent but just cant seem to get it together for whatever reason.

Every year i stick with my boys and stick up for them...been doing it since '78...and even when its Q at QB and Campo coaching or Aikman and Johnson...im still ALL IN!!!

Peace

I swear they have a reserved timeslot to discuss Tony Romo or the cowboys every day on NFL total access. Theres 31 other teams go bother them for pete sakes. Literally everyday. every single day it's the same thing.

"Cowboys expectations?" "Tony Romo..elite?"

Ofcourse Heath Evans and Jamie Dukes give the most stupidest responses.
