Yeah, Rice had some crazy stats in that game. Same with Maclin.

Looks like the primary WR got a lot more important.

I can't imagine what Megatron will do Shocked

Geez and Frank Gore also had 150 yards. Haha your man CJ2k and my boy Adrian Peterson might go ham this season. Literally I think 2,000 yards is possible now with the addition of two extra games and inflated stats.

We'll see Wink

I do feel that I've got the best #2 HB that I've had in quite some time, so CJ's carries might go down. That being said, it does mention players get more tired as the game wears on, so maybe CJ being fresher will allow him to get more yards late? We'll have to see.

I'm pretty pumped to see the results of my team. Need to head out at 9:30 AM, so hoping it's posted before than. If not, the anticipation will be killing me Laughing

I'm honestly a little frightened to see what my teams going to do...or not do. My starting QB was a backup when his stats were last adjusted, I just traded my best defender and moved my star HB...I'll be lucky to win a game this year Laughing #1 pick here I come!

The biggest thing saving you is 2 games against expansion teams.

The Knights went 1-13, and they were a solid team that got damn unlucky in several games.

With how some of the expansion teams have been handling this season, we may see a few 2-14 teams.

Could be like the year the Rams went 2-14 but the Lions went 0-16....

Okay well ... here is the rest of Week 1. I guess you can call the RI @ CEN game an unofficial "season preview". And before people start getting upset at me for their team losing... remember, it's only Week 1.

Expansion teams are 2-2 overall.

Chuck Pugano's defense doesn't get the flashy stats but boy did we shut down Big Ben.

Haha sorry Nacho. It was after 12:00 and people were getting super excited.

Pretty disappointed with the loss, think I would've been a lot better off if i had updated my sliders - i guess we'll see the difference going forward.

Also, Nate Kaeding 67 yard fg wow

Can we try not to post who won or lost prior to both users posting they saw the game?

I always assumed this was bothersome. I really wish this forum had a spoilers tag. They exist on most other forums I'm a member of and they're really useful.

Hmm...

Would it be helpful if I also posted links to the latest week's Sims at the top of the Season 4 Statsheet? That way, you won't run the risk of accidentally seeing your game's results by trying to find the links on this thread.

Cam killed me.
And your OL was great, especially with my 30 sack tandem last year...
Matt Bryant cost me the game, kinda bummed, but my team played better than I thought.

Thoughts on my team:

Offensively
- CJ2K still doing work
- Williams was a bit of a let-down this game. Hopefully he can prove to me he was worth taking over Mendenhall
- Thank god for Cam's scrambling
- Wide receivers, and overall passing game was pretty poor. 9 of 15 is not what I had in mind with a 'conservative' offense
- Offensive line had 1 sack, 3 TFL, but overall was pretty solid
- Mason Crosby doing what I wanted him to do
- Loved how they played in the first half. 16 points is what I want from my team regularly. Wanted to consistently put up points.
- But only 7 points in the second half, off a Cam Newton scramble is not what I had in mind.
- I know Jared Allen had a strip sack on Newton when (If I'm not mistaken) I was in field goal range, so great play by their defense, but disappointing turnover.
- In addition, my WR3 had more catches than my WR2. I'm assuming it was in situational plays (3rd and long). I'll re-watch it and analyze it later.

Defensively
- Changed it up. Went with a 'conservative' approach over my aggressive last year. And I didn't like how it went. I had hoped to minimize big plays, and keep leads intact... but instead, I gave up some huge plays (51 yard TD to Richardson), and only had one turnover via fumble. In addition, my defensive line got zero sacks. Played well in the first half (0 points allowed), but for a 'conservative' defense, giving up 21 in the second half is unacceptable. Not to mention, I was focused more on the run... yet Richardson had 26 for 124. Going to have to tweek the defense.
- Defensive line got tackles, and 1 TFL, but I NEED them to get to the quarterback
- McClain didn't do much, and I expected it. It's a hole in my defense, but he did what he had to do.
- Tulloch went OFF. 13 tackles is crazy. Forced a fumble too.
- Boley had my one turnover, which was key.
- Corners played well, especially right at the end of the game, batting a few passes down. Needed that.

All in all, a win is a win. But I do need to tweek my offense and defense schemes.
