Ross wasn't on the board for the Suns to pick. I did consider Austin Rivers briefly before I decided to go with Terrence Jones. I think there is a pretty decent chance that either Hakim Warrick or Channing Frye end up getting dealt this offseason. _________________

I'd be mad as heck if we pass on Perry Jones for Henson. It makes too much sense. _________________

Puts some much needed shot blocking on the roster. Perry Jones might ultimately end up the better player when their careers are over, but the Rockets were 20th in blocked shots last year and that number needs to improve if they want to improve their 19th ranked defense. _________________

It seems like you're not as high on Quincy Miller as others. _________________

I think he was still feeling the effects of the torn ACL this past season, so he's a tough grade to make. He just didn't look like the same prospect he was coming out of high school. He's probably a better prospect than where I ranked him, but I just never saw the play match the hype while he was at Baylor. _________________

I don't think it's likely, so I wouldn't get your hopes up. _________________

ya tell me about it, the Maloofs have been the cheapest team in the league the past 7-10 years, I doubt we take on any kind of contract especially not a max _________________

Where would you rank PJIII as a SF which is where many feel he'll end up playing in the NBA. _________________

No lower than six, but not higher than 3. I'm not sure he really has the ball skills to play the 3, and think he's more like a Josh Smith power forward. _________________

| I do not want Zeller in Philly. I'll take Perry Jones. |

Power Forward and Center rankings are up. Hopefully I'll get a preliminary big board up by tomorrow night. _________________

Draft Rumors (6/10 Edition)
~ Reports are coming out that Austin Rivers has secured a guarantee from someone later in the lottery. He was projected to go somewhere in that 10-20 range, so settling for a spot somewhere in the 11-14 range isn't out of the question. No word yet about which team made him that promise, but Toronto at eight is believed to really like him although they may not have made the promise. I think it's Phoenix at 13 who made the promise to Rivers, but I'll fill you in if I find out more.
~ When I noted in my rumors section a couple of days ago about trying to get Charlotte to lower their trading price, I didn't expect things to happen so quickly. Apparently Charlotte and Portland are negotiating a deal where they'd swap first round picks with Portland getting 4 and 24 while Cleveland would move back and get 6 and 11. No word on who Portland would be targeting in that scenario, but you'd have to presume it would be to jump Sacramento who pick right before them. Based on that premise, I would be led to believe they're targeting Harrison Barnes there, but it could be Andre Drummond as well.
~ Expect to see the Nets pick somewhere in the 24-30 range. Reports are coming out that they want back in the first round, and given Deron's demands to see improvements on the roster it seems unlikely that they'd give up anything under contract. Expect them to buy a pick from a team like the Grizzlies who might be willing to save a few bucks and not take on a guaranteed contract. This would presumably be to help facilitate a trade with Orlando involving Dwight Howard.
~ After last night's disappointing loss to the Heat, all eyes turned to the Celtics Big 3 as that might have been the last game the three played together. Don't look for Ray Allen to retire, instead look for him to sign a multi year deal with a contender to compete for another ring or two. He'll likely need ankle surgery to fix up his ankle, but he'll have some suitors. Kevin Garnett could very well retire, but I'd still think he's got another contract to play through. I've heard the Lakers would be interested in signing him, even after the failed attempt that saw Minnesota deal Kevin Garnett to Boston instead several years ago. _________________

I would be completely fine with Cleveland trading back to #6 and #11 for the #4 and #24... _________________
