I like this list. Just how can you justify having Tony Romo at 9 ahead of Tony Romo at 11? I got Romo all day before I'd even touch Romo. Switch that and you're list is good. _________________

Im not saying Mendy is clearly better than Matthews, but the way you ask that, you act like Matthews is clearly better than Mendy.
I like Matthews, but some Chargers fans REAAAAALY overrate him at this point and what he has proven thus far. |
Mendy doesn't really have anything special to his game. Tough runner, but not that much else it seems. Mathews basically had carries stolen from him by Tolbert all the time and rarely got into a rhythm, but still put up solid numbers in the rushing game while also being huge in the short passing game. Superb balance, and he's going to be fed the ball a lot next year with Tolbert out of the picture. Look at some of those last few games. high average and was getting the ball a lot against Jacksonville (who apparently every one thinks is a top 7 D), Denver (suprisingly good run D most of the year), and Buffalo.
I think a lot of people are underrating him because he didn't touch the ball much and doesn't break long runs or score that many TDs. I understand him not being top ten, but anybody putting him in the 20s is just crazy. He's about the 15th back right now, and if Norv follows through with what he is saying, he should get a chance to really show his skills. |

As for the guy who said my QB list was the "worst he had ever seen" because Tony Romo was at 15, I'd like you to answer a question for me. What makes Tony Romo a better QB than the 14 guys I ranked ahead of him? Why is it so outlandish to put him behind the guys I did? Maybe its just a preference issue, but its clear your just a Dallas homer who wishes his QB was better then he really is. And I don't even mind the Cowboys. _________________

You know jared Veldheer is underrated when 2 rookies are ranked ahead of him
| Quote: | Jared Veldheer was the most improved player in the AFC West last season, according to ProFootballFocus.com, who had him increasing from a 2010 player rating of -27.2 to his 2011 mark of +5.9, a net improvement of 33.1 points.
Chiefs lineman Brandon Albert was voted the second most improved player in the AFC West with a net improvement of 19.7.
The honor isn't the only recognition bestowed upon Veldheer after his second NFL season. The six-foot-eight lineman was among NFL.com's biggest bargains of 2011.
Veldheer surrendered just four sacks last season. He turned in his signature game Week 11 against the Vikings, shutting down veteran pass-rusher Jared Allen; the shutout snapped Allen's streak of 11 consecutive games with a sack. |

Honestly forgot about him or he would have been somewhere in the 15-20 range. Probably should have avoided doing two positions at 4AM but oh well. _________________

please don't think im being a homer when i ask: How the hell is darren sproles above lynch on your list? |
Just because what New Orleans asks Sproles to do does not mean he couldn't carry the ball 20+ times a game and rack up yards and rushing TD's like Lynch did this past season. Sproles is today's perfect RB. Can carry the load but is not asked to because he is so dynamic in the passing game. I don't think there is a better pass catching RB in the NFL than Sproles. |

and in what world do you think that sproles could do what lynch did last season? Sproles would not run for 100 yards and a TD against san fran(both firsts against that defense), he wouldn't make that run VS the eagles, and he wouldn't break the seahawks record with straight games for a TD
Sproles is very dynamic, and makes an impact in more varieties than lynch...but marshawn has more of an overall impact on an offense and the opposing defense. He's a franchise back, sproles can't handle nearly 300 carries per season....IMO _________________
