Always a good sign.

I'll need to see how Matt Schaub, Andre Johnson and Brian Cushing are before I give anyone a high five. THESE names are where Geoff Kaplan makes his money, so these guys need to be as close to 100% as they can be.

A couple of things:

First Aaron Glen was on 610 this morning and the replacement refs were brought up. He said you'd see a significant drop in the level of play with replacement refs. I couldn't agree more.

Here's a nice article by Kuharsky http://espn.go.com/blog/afcsouth/post/_/id/37528/texans-fied-up-for-second-year-with-phillips

I love the Watt quotes

Lastly who get's next weeks mini camp off? I know Kub said the vets but that doesnt include the 2nd and some 3rd year guys? I hope not

Schaub has been leading passing sessions these last couple of weeks and for the week to come before training camp at UH. Andre is also out there.

Glad to see this since the rookies haven't gotten to catch passes from Schaub yet.

Impressive. However, RGIII getting Santana Moss, Pierre Garcon, Fred Davis, Anthony Armstrong, Aldrick Robinson, and Brandon Banks to join him in WACO this week is more impressive. Hell, I don't like going to Waco and I went to college there, not to mention it's 115 degrees outside. Keep an eye out for some really nice cars at George's this week Baylor folks (or at Two Minnies?).

FYI - RGIII was spotted at the College Station mall last week in the puppy store. Michael Vick he is not.

Derrick Ward retired today, but once injuries around the league start to pile up im sure someone will give him a 1 yr deal.

Good team-first guy who made decent contributions for us and helped the Giants win a Super Bowl. Hopefully he keeps himself in decent shape and can be viewed as an emergency back for us if dominoes start to fall like they did in Denver a few years back.

Thanks for the link, it's a good read. I do take it with a grain of salt but I think Coach Joseph is honest and good news is always nice to hear especially when it pertains to our secondary.

I think it is worth noting. I mean he didn't speak very highly of Roc so there is no reason why he would speak highly of Brandon Harris if it wasnt true. I bet we see him a lot more this year if he keeps it up.
