Because 666 is the number of the beast. Or Alex's 666th pass was an interception. Or he only started counting from midway through the 2010 season, when Alex started having respectable stats. _________________

First one makes the most sense. |

And I'll raise ya Three Years of Drop Rate: Tight Ends
| Quote: | | Let’s start by looking at which players have dropped the most balls – Detroit and San Francisco fans may want to look away. It won’t take much figuring out to realize that Vernon Davis and Brandon Pettigrew led all tight ends in the league, with 24 drops over the past three years. |

This is pretty discouraging. Assuming Moss, Crabtree and Manningham are our 3 WRs on the field most of the time that would give us 3 of the top 12 WRs in the league in drop percentage. Then add Davis who's up there in drop percentage for TE's. That could mean a lot of catchable balls ending up on the turf.
Let's hope a whole offseason in the same offense will improve timing for our guys (even though Moss and Man'm are new) and help keep the drop rate in a more acceptable range. _________________

One the other hand, our drop rate among NTs is the lowest in the league. And our tackles are doing a mighty fine job as well. _________________

How weird that you're more hesitant to give out draft grades than giving out Rudy jokes grades... you make it look like I'm the niners2theend version of myself, right now... _________________

How much do we really read into these stats? There are guys like Moss, Marshall, T.O and Bowe are here. Some future HOFers here. _________________

Right? and you got a mediocre QB like Alex throwing the ball to them. Oh boy! Looks like were in for a treat this season... _________________

Forgot about this. Branch told me he was going to write an article about this, but never got to it. He said 665 is when Alex started playing well. |

Does anyone know how to grab drops stats from last year alone? I'm not as good as others when comes to getting that information. |

Let's go Kilgore!!!
| Quote: | | Following the formula above, we’ll start off this breakdown of Pass Blocking Efficiency by looking at which centers, over the past three years, have given up the most pressure … step forward Jonathan Goodwin. The former Saint and current 49er leads the way with 57 combined sacks, hits, and hurries allowed since 2009. | Didn't pass the eyeball test from viewing the games, now the cold hard numbers...
