Nice article on Jerry Gray's "special" D. Now we know why D-Lineman were dropping in coverage last year. The Brown pick makes so much sense for this style of D. Wonder who will win that 3rd safety spot? Hopefully Martin steps up.

I, for one, am loving all of this. I love it that we are, not only getting fast athletic players on defense, but we're getting with a solid purpose. Picking Zach Brown really makes a lot more sense now with the schemes Jerry Gray want to run. With these guys, we can go from the 4-3 to 3-4 to the Ruby 3-2-6 or even the 3-3-5, assuming they catch on to the plays. And it looks like Gray has the right idea on how to move the guys around for certain formations. Now I'm gonna be glued to the reports trying to see who's making what progress.
