Yep, I'm talking about the entire bounty scandal here.
The NFL wants and needs to figure out a way to make football fun both to play and watch. They are also concerned with player safety, right?
Now, were the supensions/punishments fair? Depends on who you talk to I guess. I think Goodell had to 'nip this is the bud'. IMO, he did just that. However, how do you divvy out fair punishment here? Is the 'intent to injure' punishment justified? Or should the fact that no one that was 'targeted' received a career ending injury count for anything here? Just sayin'... I don't envy Goodell one bit in this whole ordeal.
Now, let's move forward, accept the punishments and let's play some good, tough-nosed football with our sites set on winning the championship in our own backyard!

Any activity is good activity...? You needed to comment on something that clearly was just going to drop to the end of the page anyway?
I think he was capable of figuring out that people were not interested in this thread without a former moderator belittling him.

questioning whether a post deserves its own thread is not belittling a guy.

...so what was the purpose of that comment? Any reasonably intelligent person could infer that there was not interest in this thread.

not at all, think it through.
i made no negative opinion of his post or opinion, only that it could have gone in an already existing thread on the topic. no insult was given or cheesy emoticon or anything else. why have multiple threads on the same subject?
i think in another thread i even commended the same member for a post he made.
far from a belittling attitude, guys.

I mean its not really up to you to decide Its not a big deal but if he felt as if you were insulting his thread than you belittled him, unintentionally maybe but you did. I really don't care though. Hows life in Vikings territory?

@vike_daddy: I didn't think you were belittling at all. I could see the thread got views but no responses for a week or so. To me that meant folks didn't feel the thread was worth replying to... thus I concluded it was unimportant. And yes, I should not have given this its own thread.
