Alright, the off-season roster adjustments are pretty much complete so its time to see those season predictions. Last year I figured Tampa would be at 6-10 just b/c I really thought we did a poor job upgrading the depth and talent coming off that weak schedule 10-6 season. But without further ado
Carolina at Tampa: W
Tampa at NYG: W
Tampa at Dallas: L
Washington at Tampa: L
Kansas City at Tampa: L
New Orleans at Tampa: W
Tampa at Minnesota: W
Tampa at Oakland: L
San Diego at Tampa: W
Tampa at Carolina:L
Atlanta at Tampa: W
Tampa at Denver: L
Philadelphia at Tampa: L
Tampa at New Orleans: L
St. Louis at Tampa: W
Tampa at Atlanta: L
Final record: 7-9
At best, we finish 10-6 and that's without key injuries. It was really hard for me to do this because most of those L's - can't see the defense closing out games yet. |

To me there are a ton of scenarios in which we could put a W by a game or an L by it. Like some think we will either beat the Giants or Cowboys but not both, etc. With that said I wont do a game by game prediction cuz we will win games we shouldnt and lose games we should win. Considering the schedule we have, 10 - 6 is more than attainable with the offseason we had. Wouldnt be surprised if we went 11 - 5. Honestly, it all depends on how the players buy into Schiano and the coaching staff, cuz the talent is there.
2012 Season Prediction
10 - 6 / Win at least 1 playoff game. _________________

I have to agree with you. I feel that last years coaching staff alone was worth 4 losses. With the upgrades that we have made with FA's, the draft and what I think is a vastly improved coaching staff, I just don't think that it is a stretch to think that we can win 9 or 10 games.
I am now just wanting to see them blend the new players with the veteran players and see what the combination begins to look like. Even pre-season is something that I am excited to see take place. |

Not a great record, but I see a lot of potential with this group. It's gonna be a really unpredictable season. _________________

Part of the fun is saying which game we randomly win and lose. I tried to put those in my predicitons.
I would say the bolded is the most important, but also the coaches' ability to plan and scheme in the NFL, Freeman, the DL staying healthy (mainly McCoy) AND how the schedule ends up. Our schedule could be mediocre or ridiculously hard, depending on how some of these teams end up. Most are at a crossroads of being really good or below average, it seems to me. _________________

| I really had us beating San Diego just because normally they don't play their best ball until late into the season. I also think we can upset the Giants schematically speaking. We should be able to feast on lessor QB's like the Raiders, Chiefs, and on the rookie Robert Griffin but stranger things have happened. |

*This is an optimistic route, but highly possible.*
Carolina at Tampa: W
Tampa at NYG: L
Tampa at Dallas: W
Washington at Tampa: W
Kansas City at Tampa: W
New Orleans at Tampa: W
Tampa at Minnesota: W
Tampa at Oakland: W
San Diego at Tampa: W
Tampa at Carolina:L
Atlanta at Tampa: W
Tampa at Denver: L
Philadelphia at Tampa: L
Tampa at New Orleans: W
St. Louis at Tampa: W
Tampa at Atlanta: L
11-5 AT BEST
AH. I have them winning seven in a row, 8 out of the first 9. Then going 3-4 the rest of the way. Upsets include @Dallas and New Orleans twice.
WHO KNOWS WHAT'S GONNA HAPPEN WITH OUR BUCS THIS YEAR, NOBODY! So excited for this season. |

It's optimistic but to be honest it isn't impossible. Unlikely, but not out of the question. I don't think we sweep the Saints, but I wouldn't be surprised if we beat them when Vitt is still suspended. At the same time, I could see us beating Philly pretty soundly assuming we don't turn the ball over a lot because of the running game match up.
There are potentially 3 elite teams in this schedule, IMO. The Giants, Saints and Broncos, and all three of these teams could be elite, or could slump down to good but not great team depending on how things work out (I'd bet on elite, though). _________________
