I'm late here too but I'm incredibly excited for this pick.
NASCAR off the edges with Clemons lol. Kid's been given chances amd continues to improve as a person which is the best thing about him.
Did someone oqpt to guess sack total over at least 14 games yet?

Just watched Irvin's live presser.
I know it's been said but Pete said that Clem is going to take him under his wing and teach him the position. That the LEO is taylor made for him. In the meantime this year he will be in Raheem Brock's old spot 600 Snaps.
They asked Bruce why things didn't work out at Safety; he mentioned that all of the reads and coverage changes were hard for him to grasp so the coach said, "go to DE and just get after the passer".
I wouldn't normally bring this up again but this was exactly my point to Tats when he was yelling at me. He didn't play a SLB type position because his strengths are reading and diagnosing plays. The thing he's good at, and better than anyone else is just getting to the QB. He will never play SLB for us.

 There's a large difference between what he'd have to recognize at SLB and at S. Rushing the QB from SLB isn't any different than from LEO. Against the run, he'd be asked to keep outside contain basically. We'd rarely put him in coverage situations, if anything just flats or hook zones.

after watching his press introduction i've come to this conclusion:
It's impossible for me to NOT like Bruce Irvin. I didn't like the value on draft day, but i'm a fan of this guy after learning all that i have about him
