I have to admit, this is a good pick. Great value. It's just not what I wanted y'know? _________________

I am very happy with this pick.
Now let's get Massey in the second round. |

I had him instead of Barron in my contest, but deleted it and added Barron because I thought AJ would be crazy enough to move up. Should have known then who the pick was
The value is good. And it gets us rid of Laboy.
Phillips and Johnson as starters with Ingram, Barnes, and maybe English coming off the bench. Much better than our group last year with Laboy and Gamble. |

| Man I hate this pick. Ingram barely beat college OTs. And now we need him to beat NFL OTs? Awful. |

| I like this pick. with curry and branch still out there I wonder if AJ would double dip on olb if one of them was still there at 49? Seeing as the safeties left suck, why not go olb one more time if the value is right? |

Interesting to note, something I came across in one of the articles on DotCom about Ingram:
| Quote: | | The Chargers coveted Ingram, but were not sure he’d remain unclaimed by the time the 18th pick rolled around. When Seattle selected West Virginia’s Bruce Irvin at No. 15 overall, the first outside pass-rusher taken in the draft, Smith felt there would be a run, and San Diego was in good position to capitalize, taking Ingram and turning away three teams interested in trading up. |

Almost every analyst has this as a superb pick, and most could not believe he fell to 18 (multiple grades of A or A+). Davis. Cason. English. Mathews (stock is still out, in my mind, since we gave up the farm to get him...). Luiget. This is the BEST 1st round pick for us in FOREVER. No offense, but AJ has SUCKED with 1st rounds the last 5 years and I finally like one, so no raining on the parade... |
