Denver trades DUI Williams to philly for Asante Samual, not a big fan of either one of these guys but the trade makes sense.

Denver trades #25 and a third to the Giants for #32 and #63, Giants see Fleener or Kirkpatrick and jump on it.

DRAFT

rd. 1 #32 Jerel Worthy DT Michigan st. Good DT for years to come pro bowl potential.

rd.2 #57 Donta Hightower ILB Bama Slips through the draft and Denver snatches him up

rd.2 #63 Alameda Ta'amu Wash. big run stuffer and block eater for doom and miller

TRADE denver trades picks #120 and 2013 3rd to Detroit for pick #85

rd.3 #85 Kirk Cousins QB Mich ST. Smart kid athletic, good arm needs to learn the Game more

rd.4 #108 Chris Rainey ATH Florida. huge change pace player a real toy for manning and a good return man

rd.5 #137 Ryan Broyles WR OU. a young WR to fight for a spot

rd.6 Ryan Miller OG Colorado. DEpth in the OL

Its ok. While I don't want DJ. I surely don't want Asante. At least DJ shows up on the field. Asante does when he feels like it. It should say something that his team is begging to get rid of him. He is not worth the money and is all about the money.

I like Worthy. A bit risky but a solid and realistic pick.

IMO Hightower is a rich mans Joe Mays in our system. He doesn't have the range to play in this system. He is confined to a 3-4 like Bart Scott.

I really like the rest of it. I especially like Alameda Ta'Amu. He is the perfect DT for this scheme.

I wouldn't complain if that happened, but there is absolutely no way that Hightower is there in the second for the Broncos.

I think if you were to somehow fit in Turbin and Russell Wilson into the draft that would EXFs' wet dream, and probably mine...I will admit it.

Who replaces DJ at WLB? If you think Samuel replacing Porter is a better move for us than Woodyard replacing DJ, I think you had too much fun on Friday. I'm fine with Porter and a draft pick competing for the #2 spot than I am with WW playing WLB. I like Woodyard a lot, I was adamant that we must re-sign him and I'm very happy we did, but I do not want him as the starting WLB long-term. WW has a role to play on this team as a nickel/coverage LB and a special teams ace - not to mention as a team leader and role model in the community - but he is not an every-down WIL.

Secondly I don't see anyway Hightower is available at #57 and, even if he was, I don't think he'd be a great fit for us. He's got Pittsburgh Steeler written all over him and I don't think he makes it past them at #24, let alone lasts all the way to us at #57.

Asante is going for a 5th or 6th rounder because his contract is too high. So I don't see Dj leaving without Broncos having a Pillow to fall on comfortably.
I don't believe Hightower falls out of first most likely going to Steelers. Unfortunately I see Osweiler there instead
