I hope Gene do go with the risk and take Floyd or Ingram. I really not a fan of small school players. Just don't think it has worked for us.

Does Terrance really fit...I mean Temple is a D1 school who used to be in the Big East like 5 years ago

There's only 6 players in the NFL from Temple, and only one other one is a starter. I think they certainly translate to a small school in how it relates to NFL players.

Dillard, Z. Miller, Hart, Lane, McGee, D. Smith, Karim.....

From last years class, Rackley looks promising and I haven't given up on Shorts. I have no hope for Prosinski or Issac though.

I like Gene but lets face it, his small school experiments have not worked out so far.

Where do you think D'Anthony Smith went to school?

He is a former LSU Tiger... Confused

D Smith went to Louisiana Tech if im not mistaken. I would'nt mind drafting Brian Quick but that's about it.

Prosinski looked promising and Issac didn't even play. Smith hasn't played and Miller and Dillard have had some injury issues, but are at least solid depth.

Lane, I still think has good potential and is solid depth for now.

Hart and McGee were clear misses and Karim is on his way there, but two of those guys were 6th round picks and the other was a 5th.

Not to mention... should we mention all the big school guys drafted around the same time as all those guys? A lot of draft picks don't pan out. The truth is that it looks like we've actually done relatively well compared to other teams during Gene's regime so far.

By the way, guys, Mike Mayock said back just before or during the combine that this is a strong small school class. Whether that increases (more/better talent) or decreases (teams draft them higher than normal) the chance of us going small school though, who knows? I'd expect it being more likely though, but we'll see.
