Not a big deal at all IMO. Didn't Revis score like a 10? He has turned out fine.

Which is a 250% improvement over Morris.

Just sayin.

Doesnt matter 1 bit. The relevance of this test is non-existent.

Really why do they still do it?

I'm assuming it meant more when you didn't have footage to watch, a combine, as many chances to interview players, etc, etc.

Does not matter one bit. The film doesn't lie.

Actually, studies show that the trend for wonderlic scores and CBs are the lower the score, the better the player.

So by that logic, if Revis is a 10, then Claiborne is destined to be the GOAT Shocked

I doubt the Wonderlic is an accurate representation of an athletes knowledge. They know that their score really doesn't matter so they probably don't even try. At least thats what I'm assuming b/c I refuse to believe anyone could be that stupid.

All he had to do was check the C answers and would have scored much higher than a four.

I wouldn't be surprised if he can't read or write!

If he can read or write, the test should be changed to either include ebonics or make it more visual using pictures.

The people that are joking about it are childish and mean spirited. I wouldn't be surprised if they also make fun of handicapped and mentally challenged folks too.

Dude that leaked this still has a right to do so. Disability or not, its still information that many others have had leaked to us. His Wonderlic obviously reflects his learning disability and that's something some teams should take into consideration and even pass on him for having. Morris shouldn't get no special treatment. Its reported that his disability effects his ability to read and if he can't pass a wonderlic test because of that disability, how could he ever comprehend a NFL playbook?

To be honest, I wouldn't take him after this.

He read the playbook back in college pretty well. And LSU had a pretty complex defense.

Youre way overreacting, FTW. The wonderlic means nothing. Its a pointless exercise and the fact that the NFL makes prospects do it is a mockery. What if Claiborne's disability is dyslexia? Would you pass him up because hes dyslexic?

Besides, you dont need to read words to be in the NFL.

I don't think I'm overreacting at all. Nothing has been reported about his disability. Just speculation that it effects his reading. I can't do nothing but assume the worst.

And how do you know anything about LSUs defensive system and the complexity of it? And how do you know that they didn't dumb it down for him? Mayne they just told him to stay on said receiver wherever he goes.

With the amount of information we have, we can't do nothing but assume the worst.

What does reading have to do with him being a football player, though? There arent words (or sentances, anyway) in playbooks.

I just dont see how this learning disability affects him in any way as a player and a prospect. NFL teams will agree with me when he goes in the top 7 picks.

The bottom line here is we don't know. I am sure it is not a pointless excercise, or they would not have prospects take it. I am sure it is no different from a 40 time or long jump though. If the score is poor enough, it allows teams to know they have to delve a bit deeper into that facet of a prospects ability. If, upon further examination they find he has a reading disability and all he needs is some DVDs or something to learn and he is still fully capable of learning complex defenses easily, then no harm, no foul. If it turns out he is dumber than a rock and can't understand jersey numbers, then I have faith his draft stock will reflect that.

The teams have access to much more information and interview material than we do and I trust every team will do their homework accordingly after seeing this score and react accordingly.
