I can't wait till Cordarrelle Patterson gets on campus man. My guess is that Justin Hunter/Cordarrelle Patterson start on the outside with Da'Rick in the slot.
Oh and that JUCO DL Toby Johnson arrived on campus for his visit yesterday, I believe he is staying the entire week. I think he could potentially commit before he leaves Knoxville. _________________ My Teams:

There are rumors flying today that Da'Rick will transfer to Georgia State. _________________ My Teams:

Don't believe it. He tweeted "what up Georgia State" while home on spring break. I'm sure that's where it is coming from. _________________

could he had possibily mad a visit during spring break? Whats the date on the Tweet.
He wasnt at practice today
| Quote: | Receiver Da’Rick Rogers was not at practice Thursday, but coach Derek Dooley said the receiver is not suspended.
Dooley remarked Rogers is dealing with issues that are of the internal variety and he will be back with the team when they get cleaned up. There were reports that he missed some workouts last month following an incident with the conditioning staff. Hopefully for the Vols it will all get sorted out because Rogers was second in the SEC last year with an average of 87 yards receiving per game. He was 67-1,040-9 and had six 100-yard games during his sophomore year. |

I'm not so sure about that, GA state isn't really near where he went to high school. I live down here and he went to high school about 1-2 hours away from GA state, so not too sure why he would say that unless he was at their campus. Unless that was an idiotic way of saying hello to the state of Georgia. _________________

I swear man people these days. If he leaves not only will he hurt his draft stock, but if he goes to GA State he won't get the ball much. I don't understand people these days _________________

Read this on another forum after reading into the situation.. Apparently schoolwork is't his thing.
| Quote: | Rogers has, indeed, told some close to him that he wishes to transfer to Georgia State, but that scenario is highly unlikely for a multitude of reasons. Rogers would still have to sit out a year if he chose to leave Tennessee for the GSU program, which is transition to full Football Bowls Subdivision status after a transition period. Additionally, Rogers would have to improve his academic standing, according to sources who have indicated Rogers would have been ineligible for a bowl game had the Vols' season not ended last November in a loss at Kentucky.
While a variety of stories --- some substantiated; others unable to be verified --- have dogged Rogers, he has starred on the field. Earning consensus All-Southeastern Conference honors in 2011, the 6-foot-3, 208-pound Rogers amassed 67 catches for 1,040 yards and nine touchdowns. He has averaged 15.5 yards per reception and scored 11 touchdowns on 78 career receptions.
Multiple sources told VolQuest.com that Rogers was suspended in the offseason, something that Dooley refused to address Sunday in his pre-spring press conference.
"I'm not going to go into all the individuals. We had a lot of guys who missed a workout or two whether it be for academic reasons, whether it's discipline or injury," Dooley said. "We had a ton of that. It's managing a hundred guys. Everyday's a challenge and I don't want to revisit our last eight weeks." |
What I'm thinking is Dooley pursued Cordarrelle Patterson so hard because he knew all this and put pressure on Da'Rick to either come back or transfer. Just a thought. I really don't want to see him go. _________________

Good to hear in the midst of the Da'Rick Rogers fiasco. Johnson looks to be an impressive player from what I've seen. _________________

I haven't seen any film on him to judge but I'll trust your opinions. That being said apparently Da'Rick is back again, but once again I'm the bad news guy and must say Cordarrelle Patterson might have trouble getting in. _________________ My Teams:

Haven't seen much, and just looked for what I found and couldn't find it to link you (nothing on youtube or anything like that). Does that mean Da'Rick has given up on the idea of transferring..? _________________

Looking forward to this year. If we don't win at least 9 games, I am going to be so disappointed. This might be the most talent we've ever had on offense. Word out of spring practice is that Bray is looking amazing and starting to call audibles on his own.
We've likely got 3 top 15 picks at the skill positions, and Bray could go #1 depending on the jump he takes these next two years. _________________

Also, I'm looking forward to not having Justin Wilcox. Too many times we watched guys not wrap up on tackles or give up untimely huge plays. He might have been our most overrated coach in the last 5 years. Probably not the popular opinion but I'm glad he's gone. _________________
