Let me first say that I am indeed a Bengals fan, I am not here to rant about how your team sucks
What did you guys thinkof Carson Palmer this year? I watched every Bengals game I could, and towards the end of the season I saw the makings of an extremely deadly player. He can move better than alot of people relize, and he throws the deep ball well. And towards the end of hsi season, he gt very hot, it was really something to watch
Lets hope that hotness comes into the season, if it does and they draft well, then they might make the playoffs

Give Carson another season or two, and he'll be mentioned in the same breath as Peyton Manning, etc. I think he's the complete package.

i think he's just getting hot because at usc it took him 3 years to fully grasp the system until he did something. I think next year is going to be his break-through year.

Palmer is a stud. He can make the throws, is grasping the offense, has mobility, can create on the fly, and started showing leadership by the end of the year. I think he can be a HOF type QB if......

1. The Bengals remain committed to excellence on the O-Line
2. The running game provides balance

That said, I was totally impressed by the guy, particularly late in the year. His game vs. NE showed what he is capable of. He looks like the player the Bengals have been waiting for.

The Bengals have no future with palmer. he's going to realize what a waste this team is, along with chad johnson, and they will both leave because you guys suck. Palmer will be a bust and Johnson is going to end up on pittsburgh. Suck on that. By the way, WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU THINKING WHEN YOU DRAFTED THAT PIECE A CRAP cHRIS PERRY. HES FROM MICHIGAN!

palmer really came into his own the last 4 weeks he started and posted very solid numbers. the bengals must continue to provide a solid running game to keep the offense balanced. also, the bengals must either keep tj or draft a wr (i am really high on williamson out of SC or white out of UAB), and add the tight end into the passing game (most teams utilize the tight end).

I was wrong about them benching Kitna, bc Palmer is gonna be the real deal. If i were a Bengal fan, i would be excited with Marvin Lewis under control and with Palmer and Johnson, the future is looking good. Rudi needs to figure out what hes doing, i think hes acting pretty gay with his situation. Bengals should franchise him and trade him if he doesnt wanna sign a new deal.

I admit I didn't like Palmer at first either but I do now. Palmer impressed me in the last few games he played.

Everybody keeps talking about RB's & WR's but what about TE's? Bengals should try to sign Green Bay's Bubba Franks who is a free agent. Favre was always passing him the ball in the red zone and they were pretty good together. I think Palmer needs a good TE like Bubba Franks in the red zone. That way he has a good target for those short passes too.

Nice idea Wildcat. A big, reliable Red Zone target would be a nice addition if the price was right.
