Was hoping for a 3rd for Sidney Rice, but oh well. I'm happy with this.

Was also hoping for a 3rd (as a long shot), but glad to have two extra in the 4th.

Sounds good. I know most people were hoping from a 3rd, but it takes something really big to get a 3rd.

I like this tweet from Tom Pelissero. We seem to like 4th round D-linemen. We've actually drafted much better in the 4th round than we have in the 3rd. Maybe we didn't want a 3rd for Sidney Rice after all Razz

#Vikings 4th-round picks since 2006: Ray Edwards, Brian Robison, Everson Griffen, Christian Ballard. You can get players there.

I'm excited about this.

This gives us some flexibility to move up in the 3rd or 2nd rounds, should certain prospects slide and give us the opportunity to package picks to nab them.

We can't trade the comp picks, but we certainly can with our other picks. These help big time!!!

I didnt think 3rd rounders were likely:

Very pleased with 2 4th rounders and not 1 4th rounder + 1 5th rounder

Right, I should have stated that a bit more clearly. Having those comp picks in hand will allow us to use our other picks to move up and down the board without worrying about losing our footing in the middle rounds.

Thanks for having m' back, Frank!

The Packers also received two 4th rounders, as well as two 7th rounders.

Oh I knew what you meant, just clearing it up for others. I didn't know that till someone on here told me either.

Can't wait till April 26th, I already scheduled off. Laughing
