Don't wanna be picky, but a few signed guys are missing I believe...........
QB Zac Robinson/ RB Aaron Brown/ RB-FB James Develin/ WR Vidal Hazelton/ OT Matt O'Donnell/ LB DeQuin Evans/ LB Micah Johnson/ DB Rico Murray/ K Thomas Weber......Dan Skuta and Clark Harris are listed, but at the moment are still an unsigned restricted FA's I believe.
There are 19 unrestricted FA's from last year to look at potentially signing........
RB Cedric Benson/ WR Andre Caldwell/ OT Anthony Collins/ DL Jonathan Fanene/ CB Kelly Jennings/ LB Brandon Johnson/ CB Adam Jones/ LB Manny Lawson/ TE Donald Lee/ OG Nate Livings/ OG Mike McGlynn/ S Reggie Nelson/ OT Dennis Roland/ DL Frostee Rucker/ TE Bo Scaife/ WR Jerome Simpson/ DT Pat Sims/ OG Bobbie Williams/ S Gibril Wilson. _________________ " I imagine that in Paul McCartneys' house, he must have a shelf with the 12+ great 'Beatles' studio albums neatly stacked. No problem Duke, just checking on the status of Frostee Rucker.......a number of sites; (including 'bengals.com' !!!!); are still listing him as our player, but more sites seem to list him as a UFA, so I'm sure now he is a UFA.
First moves of FA are in......Brandon Marshall to the Bears. I suspect you may have to wait a few days Duke to use that highlighter......!!!!!! _________________ " I imagine that in Paul McCartneys' house, he must have a shelf with the 12+ great 'Beatles' studio albums neatly stacked. Don't know what you think 'Duke', but I'd have Jason Allen @ FS, rather than CB, and more of Crocker replacement. He was originally drafted as a S and looking at Dolphin posts I don't think his coverage skills are up to top CB standard.
PS; OG Mike McGlynn has been signed by the Colts, so you can add him to the (growing) 'lost' list....... _________________ " I imagine that in Paul McCartneys' house, he must have a shelf with the 12+ great 'Beatles' studio albums neatly stacked. DUKE - I mentioned it in another thread but i think it's better suited here. Wharton is a LG/LT primarily. If he's played RG, i haven't heard of it.
Boling played 3 games at RG last year.
Here's the link to the NFL.com Gamebook.
I think the line will be (as the roster stands now):
LT: Andrew Whitworh
LG: Travelle Wharton, Otis Hudson
C: Kyle Cook
RG: Clint Boling, Otis Hudson
RT: Andre Smith, Matt O'Donnell _________________

He also played LT @ the Panthers, so will effectively also be Whits' back-up....... _________________ " I imagine that in Paul McCartneys' house, he must have a shelf with the 12+ great 'Beatles' studio albums neatly stacked. Binns or Hazelton, doesn't really matter, I doubt either make it there in the end
Moved Wharton to LG and added Reggie Nelson, moved Rico Murray to the cut column
Anyone think Crocker might get cut? _________________

The staff seems like they want to give Binns a shot at the #2. I always liked him at Cincy _________________

What makes you think they want to give a 2nd year player who didn't even make the roster last year the #2 WR job? _________________

Marvin Lewis stated that Binns would get a shot at the #2 position.
Gruden also said he would
"I think he can do a lot more than maybe people anticipated him doing, if he shows up in shape and in the right frame of mind, I foresee him making a major impact with our offense next year...He got into great shape and made a ton of plays. Then we got him some reps in our offense and he's really been a great surprise for us. We're hoping the momentum carries into this season." Gruden on Binns _________________

I guess context would be a key here. If he was asked specifically about Binns then I would say he just didn't want to bad mouth him, but if they brought up Binns, then perhaps there is something there. I went and looked up his scouting profile from last years drafts and it was pretty solid. 4.50 40 time at 6'3" 210 lbs with good production at Cincinnati in college. Could definitely be a sleeper. _________________
