However there are people pushing for this and obviously I'd be one of those salivating at the notion.

That was from almost a year ago and it sounded like fan fiction. If Mann isn't involved, I want no part of it. I'd rather watch the feature film and the reruns on Sleuth.

Miami Vice was my favorite TV show of all time. As much as I'd like to see more of it, I think it would probably be a bad idea. The styles in the show were so cutting edge back in the day that I don't see how they can recreate the feeling of it all. You have to remember that Vice came on back in the 80's when money was everything. Nowadays it seems like everyone is more concerned with how to save a nickel than looking good.

Some things should just be left alone, and I think Miami Vice is one of those things.

Was a Miami Vice fan when I was little...I used to wear White Don Johnson-type suits with black shades when I was like 4/5.
