Seahawks are cutting him because he is due a 5mil bonus.
And I just mean a couple years to let some youth grow.
Going to be starting a rookie that was likely the most hit qb in the NCAA. He best have any protection he can get. _________________

Maybe sign him for a couple years, draft a couple linemen and wait for them to mature behind him. | Not worth it IMO. Raiders didn't want to retain him and now the sehawks are cutting him a year after giving him a big contract? No thanks. He's not worth it. I'd sign Grubbs, go with Kory L, Monty, Mo Hurt and draft a G or C to develop in the mid rounds of the draft. |
+ 1 If they couldnt use him , we probably shouldnt take the chance _________________

Yeah, I know RG3 got hit alot. That's why we need to sign a top 10 guard like Grubbs and sign an upgrade at RT in Winston. Then cut Jamaal Brown. _________________ RIP SSF mike23md

The move is saving the Hawks 4mil in cap space to use. Thats why he is getting released.
They were paying him 5 mil per. We could probably get him for half that now.
We dont have to toss around big time money to get someone that can help the line hold up for a rookie. _________________

I don't know Parrothead, I've always thought Gallery was overrated, overpaid and not very good like most Hawkeye ol turn out to be. I really don't want him and didn't have much interest last year. To me there is no point to signing an injury prone, overrated, inconsistent guard.
Well that's all I got to say about that! in my forest gump voice _________________ RIP SSF mike23md

Oh well it would have worked out the opposite for us man, we all know that. I wish Landry the best, always will as I do with all x skins (unless we play them) but we need to move on from him and look to the future. Hopefully Gomes can be his or Atogwe's replacement for the future and if not, hopefully we can find that guy in Free Agency or the draft, this year or next.
I'm really intrigued to know what there plans are for safety next year. Is pretty obvious to me, we will draft one, maybe two guys and hopefully SignA guy. Again, I wonder about Barnes being worked out there to see if he's a better fit at SS or FS than he was at cb the last few years (in 2010 he looked to be better at safety than cb) and I wonder if there is any interest at all in bringing back Chris Horton or Kareem Moore for tryouts in camp to compete for reserve roles if they are healthy. _________________ RIP SSF mike23md

Just like the Calvin Johnson new contract, from what I know of Mario and have heard, this couldn't have happened to a better young man. this is well deserved. _________________ RIP SSF mike23md

Big mouth alert!!!! Desean Jackson has GUARANTEED a super bowl win for the Eagles during his 5 year contract, itd be their first btw |
I love it! Open that big ol' mouth of yours, DeSean. All you're doing is motivating your divisional rivals to MAKE SURE your guarantee doesn't follow through. _________________ RIP SuperSkinFan |

Here's a question? Anyone heard if there is any interest in re-signing Hightower out there? I think we need to re-sign Hightower. _________________ RIP SSF mike23md
