Instead of putting them in a thread where people are already discussing what the Vikings realistic options are, I'd start a thread to trade free agency rumors/news/signings:

To start it off:

https://twitter.com/#!/VikingsNow/status/179660607509893120

Letroy Guion signs 3 year deal with Vikings

Free agent defensive end Mario Williams plans to visit the Buffalo Bills tonight.

Free-agent safety Brandon Meriweather plans to visit the Denver Broncos tonight.

@JasonColeYahoo: Pierre Garçon talking contract with Washington.

www.twitter.com/JasonColeYahoo

Free-agent CB Cortland Finnegan scheduled to visit Rams on Friday. Finnegan could rejoin Jeff Fisher.

AdamSchefter

I would be curious to see if the Vikings would look at brining in Garcon at all for an interview.

@espn_nfceast: Schefter also reporting CB Brandon Carr will visit the Cowboys first

twitter.com/espn_nfceast

No shock with him going there, I doubt he'll make it as far as Minnesota if they even would have brought him in.

@JasonLaCanfora Dallas WR Laurent Robinson on his way to visit the Jags

www.twitter.com/JasonLaCanfora

Pierre Garcon also talking to the Rams.

www.twitter.com/HBalzer721

More visits: chad Henne expected to visit Jacksonville, Kyle Orton expected to visit Dallas.

www.twitter.com/AdamSchefter

Robinson would be another one of those WR's I'd bee interested to see the Vikings bring in.

RT @Rep1Sports: LB Heath Farwell has agreed to terms on a new contract with the Seattle Seahawks. Congrats Heath!

www.twitter.com/Rep1Sports

Not a huge signing, but good for him catching on with another team, he might have been overpaid as a Viking, but he was always a good special teams player who could kind of play LB.

I really hope the vikings don't sit on their hands too long! They need to make some moves or look up to the rest of the division for years to come

Calvin Watkins reporting that TE Martellus Bennett to visit Giants.

www.twitter.com/AdamSchefter

For those saying Rick Spielman and company are out playing golf or something, I can confirm #Vikings are making calls. Nothing set up yet.

www.twitter.com/TomPelissero

@HolderStephen Sources saying Vincent Jackson to Bucs close to done deal.

www.twitter.com/HolderStephen

Good for the Bucs, indifferent for the Vikings, he was going to be very expensive and he is fairly old and coming off an injury filled season the past couple of years.

I think they will get a couple of young talents in the off season, but don't expect big names, especially at DB, and the Bears have a very limited window cause they are going to have a lot of contracts getting bigger (and that defense is pretty old)

Pierre Garcon on Facebook: "I will be signing with the Washington Redskins and I'm very excited about the opportunity in front of me."

www.twitter.com/TomPelissero

And I'm out for a bit, I'll try and run some updates later this evening so we can track what is going on.

Not going to happen, Garcon has already tweeted himself that he's signing with the 'Skins.

Signing Guion means the Vikings aren't forced to make a move for a DT in FA or the draft. It remains to be seen whether or not they keep Ayodele. I believe they won't make any changes to the DL at least until the March 25 Bayounty decisions are handed down. Of course, that will be too late to sign the better free agent DTs.

IMO, the Vikings will look to replace Ayodele via the draft, so he will be kept until rd 4 arrives, and they pick a NT or DT/NT.

Thus far, signings include:

MLB Elimimian
QB Rosenfels
DT Guion

earlier;
C Sullivan
T Brown

and a few others who will likely be PS prospects.

Michael Lombardi of the NFL network is reporting that B. Carr is hammering out a deal with Dallas worth around $7 mil. per season.

Groan. I would give him more just to snag him. Actually him or Finnegan.

In addition to trying to sign WR Vincent Jackson, Buccaneers trying to sign G Carl Nicks. Two top free agents could be Tampa bound

www.twitter.com/AdamSchefter

They have about 60 mil in cap space, so no real surprise.
