First off Dielman is not retiring because he is scared. The dude is a mean monster on the field. He is retiring because it is what is best for him and his family. Secondly the doctors said the seizure was unrelated to the concussion and was a completely seperate health risk.
Losing his leadership on the line and in the locker room is an obvious set back but it's been 3 years since he has been a truly dominating guard on the field. _________________

One of the best we've ever seen, a true warrior on the field and by far the baddest dude on the team. He was everything you wanted in a football player. He took a lot less money to stay with this team, he gave every play everything he had, and he held the locker room together. Definitely going to be missed, thank you for all the great years Kris. _________________ Stay Healthy San Diego! |

| Not going to pretend that I watched him play a lot. But obviously was a great player especially for an undrafted one to get to four pro bowls and two all-pro selections. It's great to see him put his health and family above football. |
