What the hell happened with Capello after he become the England national team coach? This isn't Capello. The real one is dead, this guy is pretending to be Fabio Capello.

He used to be a boss at Real Madrid, but he's become sometimes a bit of a joke.

That is what happens to all England managers

The turning point, perhaps? World's worst National team gets first win

I remember laughing about American Samoa losing to Australia in WC Qualifying 31-0 (yes, that's a real score)

They defeated the Island of Tonga in a gripping 2-1 match to record their first victory ever after nearly 20 years of losing.

I myself always wondered if my outdoor team would be able to keep a match competitive against American Samoa, having mostly D-1 players. Fun to think hypothetically about, but I knew that they'd come good eventually.

Thomas Rongen (US fans will know of him, for sure) is the current coach of American Samoa.

Many congratulations to him.

Julian de Guzman just said in an interview that Jonathan has contacted Canada Soccer about reapplying for citizenship (rumours are he had to give up Canadian citizenship to gain Dutch) and playing for Canada. He also said that he has been on the phone with Junior Hoillet as well.

Hopefully if we make it to the hex, JDG II and Junior will see that Canada is a threat and join

---Atiba----JDG----
Dero ---JDGII---Simpson
---------Junior-----------

EKKKKK!!!!!!

That would quite the additions for you guys. I think you guys would have a legit shot at a spot in the World Cup. You would have a pretty formidable attack albeit a weak defense. You could definitely go toe to toe with the Honduras' and Costa Rica's.

Fresh goal by Messi who receives from Sosa, breaks two midfielders, passes to Aguero, who receives and back heels the ball to Messi who defines perfectly against the goalkeeper.

It's nice to see Argentina finally playing well.

Lets be honest, all International Football is a pile of crap. I bloody hate the stupid England band as well. Trying to create an atmosphere when there isn't one.

Pretty fair statement. The WC is generally awful, but the mystique of it keeps people watching. There are generally very few teams that play any kind of entertaining football. (Uruguay is one that comes to mind from 2008. They were actually fun to watch)

Everything about it sucks, to be honest I think I'm going to turn over and watch some cricket or something. Far more entertaining.

Thank goodness. 120+ on Sun and 90 today would have been terrible.
