I wouldn't touch Burfict even if he was available with our last 7th round selection.

I have never seen a guy, projected like he was, have such a bad combine. 350 lbs defensive tackles are out performing him.

Burfict sounds like he's a strange-one . . . i.e.: either bi-polar, manic-depressive or Postal.

I've seen some footage of him play and he is intense . . . kinda like that linebacker in the movie "The Replacements" -- seems that guy was a suspended prison guard or something.

Whether the Vikes have drafted well in the 4th Rd is debateable . . . the whizzinator is not a good choice. then again, Denny Green drafted Dimetrius Underwood in the 1st one year . . . how'd that turn out?

Burfict sounds he could be Ray Lewis or he could wind up in a straight-jacket during training camp. Either way, he's not worth anything but a third day pick, right now.

I'm starting to worry about Erin getting signed away from us

So, you're saying he's im-burfict?

This thread proves the inevitable result of early agent hype on collegiate players. Vids that are compiled on players are rarely a good measure of their value because weaknesses are never displayed.

Chapman was a fairly good RB taken in rd 4, IIRC.

I could never put Burfict in my mocks as a top 50 pick. He will probably be lucky to go before round 4 at this point. Completely overhyped player, kind of reminds me of Jasper Brinkley in 2009 and how he completely plummted (though for different reasons).

From what I have read he actually blamed his struggles last season on his coaches and teammates. Then he topped it off by showing up completely out of shape.

Kuechley had a great combine coming in 3rd in the 40 for LB's. Guess he's not sliding anywhere near 35.

i'd laugh if he fell to us at 35, and we took him. steal of the draft.

I will pray every night until April 29th, that this in fact happens. He's my favorite WR of the draft, even over Blackmon. He's DeSean Jackson 2.0.

Except DeSean is a better athlete, ran a 4.3 and is even faster on the field than that 4.3. DeSean is a rare talent, you cant compare every smallish fast WR to DeSean.

He stumbled, kinda pulled up & posted the second fastest 40 time. Probably better chance Jonathan Martin's available at 35 than Brown, but i tend to value defense more highly than offense.

Isn't the knock on Kendall Wright that he drops passes? I thought the sun-tan man's shadow said that, for what it's worth.

Id love Brown, i think he can play MLB in our scheme. Though, he is probably a first round pick. But 4-3 LBs tend to fall, so it could be anyone's guess.

I just checked out Walterfootball's latest & they have us taking Brown as a weakside LB in round 2, but we pass on Rueben Randle to do it. Not sure I like that. Might as well give ponder a WR in 2 if we go OT at 3, if a potential elite is there & RR might be just the guy.

Id prefer a WR like Randle over Brown in round 2 as well. A 3rd LB will be sharing a lot of playing time with the 3rd CB, so it probably isnt that prudent to use an early pick on one.
