What I'd like to see come draft day

This is what I would like to see happen with the first 3 rounds come draft day:

Round 1: Marcus Spears then Thomas Davis if Spears is gone. I don't see why we cannot trade up to like the 12th or 13th pick to get Spears all I hear is talk about trading down...why? Spears can play both the DE and DT and could start opposite Smith and add depth in the middle. Davis would shore up our secondary.

Round 2: Chris Spencer because we need a center for the future.

Round 3: Chris Henry or Cory Webster. Henry is a 1st round talent and I believe Marvin could change his attitude and would compliment Chad. Just a couple months ago Webster was a 1st round talent, even a top 10 pick so why not grab some depth at corner with him.

i think in round three we should either get a ss like shazor or nicholson. If shazor is gone, then we should definately get alex smith or kevin everett to improve the te position.

Shazor and Smith look like early 2nd round picks. I've seen each in the 1st round of some mocks. But they look to be early to mid 2nd rounders. Nither is likely at all to be available in round 3. Especially at # 17 in round 3.

I agree with charger man Shazor and Nicholoson will be our second pick if we do not get Thomas Davis with our first pick.

The pick I like in round three is Antonio Perkins ot of Oklahoma. He would give us depth as our dime cb, and he would give the Bengals one of the best return men in NCAA history. I think he would be well worth a third round pick to be an instant upgrade to both our punt return and kick return games.
