Like someone else said. Take this with a grain of salt.

I really hope we go after Finny.

He is one of my favorites. He is what this team needs. He is a physical cornerback who has great cover skills and has a nasty demeanor on the field which our defense needs.

Most people would say oh he is a bad guy blah blah blah but he really isn't!

Would be a solid number two next to Talib and hopefully have Ronde in the slot.

Indeed... He has that tenacity that can affect opposing WR's psychologically and take them out of their game. BUC fans have been long awaiting a big FA signing, maybe this is the year.

Honestly who was our last big name FA signing?

That's a good one. Hardy Nickerson?

Simeon Rice comes to mind to me.

Ian Gold, then Faine. Neither were huge signings, like Sim. Faine was well-known, but likely a 2nd tier FA. Gold isn't remembered as much, for some reason, but he was a real high quality FA when we signed him.

Every one of these reports is nice, but like I've said before I'm not holding my breath.

I hope no one is taking all of these seriously, otherwise we'll be this year's Eagles signing everyone in FA.

I thought we were only talking defense signings, but what about Brad Johnson? Him and Rice were both signed in 2001.

Galloway was traded for Key after we deactivated him, remember?

June was alright, but he was on the cheap side and only fit our type of scheme. Gold was a BIG FA linebacker that year, and everyone was surprised when we got him and how much we spent because of how little cap room we had at the time. Boy how times have changed.....

The Bucs have the most cap room out of any team this off-season. That means every media outlet will be linking Free Agents to Tampa like crazy because they have the money to pay them.
