im almost pretty sure we can make somethin happen really great this offseason. we are around $35M under the cap. and we can do somethin with that.

Resign Curtis Lofton
Sign Mario Williams
Sign Michael Griffin
Sign Nate Livings or Anthony Collins or etc...

Draft:
Stephon Gilmore CB S.Carolina
or
Chase Minnfield CB UVA
or
Trumaine Johnson CB Montana or etc...

We would not have to blitz if our front four could consistently bring pressure. See the NYG, aka Super Bowl Champs again. They consistently get pressure with 4 guys. I would rather acquire players in the front four that have better pass rush ability than send LBers more.

Exactly, but for the past 3 years we havent been able to create pressure with our front 4 on a consistent basis. That is why we were suggesting maybe with the personnel we have now blitzing LB's should become apart of the scheme. But I'd love to actually garner the players to create massive pressure with the front 4

That's an amazing dream.... I'd be happy with Resigning Lofton, Signing Griffin and Drafting Trumaine Johnson (CB Montana). Getting Mario Williams would cost a lot of money.

Why move Spoon when he has finally focused on playing WLB and thrived?

Agreed. He has already moved from SLB. Why move him again. Considering it would be his 3rd change. Especially since he has excelled greatly at the wlb position.

yeah do not move Spoon to MLB. if we dont re-sign Lofton then we need to either use Dent as our starter, draft a guy like Hightower or someone else in FA that wont cost as much. (Kirk Morrison, David Hawthorne etc...)

and BTW i jus saw LaRon Landry and this man is GINORMOUS!!!!

what do u guys think bout maybe moving him from SS to the SLB spot? hes a great player around the line but struggles deep. we can use him in a way the skins used Orakpo in the 4-3 earlier in his career. jus a thought....[/b]

Nah, Landry is def on roids. He didnt have a great year last year and he had a linger Achilles last year. Guy is just a workout warrior now. He hasn't been a serviceable player since 2010.
