Saw some random California San Jose outlet say. Andrew Luck 6'0 240, RG 6'2 3/8ths.
Wish that were true. _________________

I was trying to make him look big, not like Flavor Flav. |

Think Cam and Luck are more comparable now. Cause at 6'2 223. Those shots of Luck standing next to RG make me think hes an absolute truck at this point.
Big ol'lumberjack standing back there with his neck beard.
| Quote: | If anything, in terms of physical stature, Luck is a lot more like Newton. The former Stanford quarterback, listed at 6-4, 235 during the 2011 season, may turn out to be even thicker when he steps on the scale at the combine – and given his accompanying athleticism, that’s a good thing.
“You don’t really realize how big Luck is until you see him in person,” says a personnel executive for an NFC team. “He’s a man. And he can move. Newton’s just a beast – you’d see guys on tape who’d come up to hit him and go limp, like they wanted no part of him. Well, I think Luck has some of that in him, too.” |

If Cleveland ends up with Flynn, they will be able to surround him with some good players in the draft. That would leave Washington next in line to take RG3 with a natural pick. But with Cleveland out, that may open the door for Miami to trade up. If St Louis wants to move down, they could tell Washington that Miami is asking to move up and scare Washington into giving up some draft picks. This is going to be an interesting chess game, with the opening move coming March 13. |

Boom! Hello RG3 to the redskins!
| Quote: | Steve Doerschuk of the Canton Repository writes the Browns brass “will make a play for Matt Flynn” with the hopes of making Flynn the team’s starter. They will have competition, though.
“There will be a budget that will not be exceeded in the play for Flynn,” Doerschuk writes.
That budget may have to include draft picks if the Packers use the franchise tag on Flynn. The Green Bay Press-Gazette believes that’s a “real possibility.” |

Im not buying the Browns and Flynn thing.
1 thing is the news grouper that combines all teamed NFL reports I get news from has 1 article on Flynn, and has blown up for the Browns on RG just in the past couple days. They are getting quadruple the RG news reports as the Redskins atm.
Another thing is every team has started playing the games they play now. Could be thinking that showing heavy interest in Flynn could cause the Skins to lower their guard towards RG and Browns could get him for less than they hoped to be forced to give up.
Not buying the Browns didnt like his interview either. Teams dont let things like that slip out during the combine. Has to be a rumor.
I do believe teams are trying their best to secure the 2nd pick now. And Ive read that 2 1st + this years 2nd and 4th could do it for the Skins this week but I doubt it. Rams will likely play that pick till the last moment. _________________

Yeah, I've always thought Luck looked absolutely huge out there. 6'5 and pushing 250 pounds wouldn't surprise me in the least.
As for the Flynn-to-the-Browns thing, I've sort of seen that as a good possibility all along. It fits Holmgren's MO. Take a QB who is trained up in something like your system, plug him in immediately, don't invest high picks in a risky rookie player you have to develop, and use your assets to surround the QB with talent. That's how he's succeeded in both GB and SEA, and I can't imagine at this point such an old dog would want to try a new trick.
I think Holmgren knows he would need to trade up to get RG3, and I think he agrees with you in that he would rather build up the rest of his team with all their picks and make a lesser investment in the QB position. All pure supposition on my part, but supposition based on how he's preferred to operate in the past. _________________

It's basically draft mid to late rounds and develop behind your starter or a vet _________________

RG scaling out so well cant be fairing well for the Redskins. Not doubting the Vikings will be in the mix now.

"I know we're very confident in Christian, but if one of those quarterbacks is too good to pass up, you also have to weigh that in too," Spielman said today during an interview with local reporters.
"We'll be at their workouts, yeah," Spielman said. "We'll be doing full monty on [Luck] and RG3."
"I will personally be at a lot of those workouts, and if I don't get to see them on their workout, I will make sure [offensive coordinator] Bill Musgrave and whoever our offensive coaches and [coach] Leslie [Frazier] are out there to meet and make sure to know them. You never know what happens on draft day, and I would rather be over-prepared than under-prepared." |

Yeah ... they done screw'd up dere.
Luck = 6'4", 238
RG3 = 6'2 3/8", 223
I haven't been able to find out all of the hand sizes, but Russell Wilson's got some big mitts for a short guy (5'11", but 10 1/4" hands). |

Smokescreen. They're trying to scare people into trading up before Cleveland even if Cleveland goes with Flynn. |

But Ponder really is crap.
And I see it as 2 teams with more ammo than the Skins to trade up. With one behind 2 spots as crazy as the Skins were with Vinny running things.
Just screaming "COSTLY!" to me if we do decide to trade up.
Thats all Im getting at. Likely is a smokescreen. But even smokescreens sound costly to those behind them. _________________
