Yea, pretty much what I assumed you'd say.

That's where we currently sit on the Depth Chart.

I think we clearly need guard depth and defensive tackle depth. Also would like to add a pass rusher at the SLB position and we obviously need a #2 and depth at CB.

Should we resign McQuistin for guard depth? Anyone else perhaps for that spot? Can we cut Adrian Moten yet? No way in hell he makes the team. Check through the entire Free Agent list in the link on Page 1, Post 3 and see if you can find any guard or LB depth we can sign on the cheap.

So I was looking at this.
TRADES
Quote:
Bengals get
WR Deon Butler

Seahawks get
Bengals 6th

Quote:
Jets get
Seahawks 7th

Seahawks get
LB Bart Scott
Jets 6th
Conditional 2013 5th

Quote:
Bears get
Seahawks 1st

Seahawks get
Bears 1st
Bears 6th
2013 1st rounder

Quote:
Titans get
OG Robert Gallery

Seahawks get
Titans 4th
Titans 6th
*Seahawks eat Gallery's 2012 salary

Quote:
Saints get
DT Alan Branch
Bears 6th
Jets 6th

Seahawks get
Saints 2nd
*Seahawks eat Branch's 2012 salary

Quote:
Vikings get
CB Brandon Browner
WR Kris Durham
Titans 4th

We absolutely killed these trades. Every single one.

Thoughts on this deal from the Saints?

Ben Obomanu

for

2012 5th
2013 conditional pick
60+ catches = 4th rounder
50-59 catches = 5th rounder
40-49 catches = 6th rounder

Considering they traded Colston, traded Devery, and lost Meachem this offseason, there's a great chance that pick would be a 4th.

How are the deals with Jackson going. If he leaves we will be running a little bit thin at WR, especially considering Rice and WIlliams are both very injury prone. It is good value, however.

We signed Vincent Jackson.

We currently have 7 WRs and I don't plan on carrying that many. With this deal we'd still be left with Jackson/Rice/BMW/Baldwin/Tate/Lockette.

I also love Obo. But I love BMW a lot more. Like, if given the opportunity, I would cuddle with BMW just to feel his warm embrace.

Obo is expendable now that we acquired Jackson and it's a good compensatory pick considering the team. I'll shop him around more and see if we can't get anything better.

BMW is expendable too now though. Obo is more versatile than BMW, he can play inside, outside, and special teams. BMW is great, Obo is the man Laughing

I'm fine with shopping Obo, but I also think we should be shopping BMW.
