If Asante is traded, I think the pick at 15 will be Dre Kirkpatrick if he is there. He is one special player.

No way in hell Kirkpatrick falls.

But he fell to 9-12, i would SCREAM for a TRADE UP!!!!!!! I WOULD CRY IF WE DID!!!

Hes my favorite player overall in the entire draft.

I just think hes going to be a animal and is that physical DB this team needs like its no one business. He could play safety to, hes soooo dope.

If he slips out of the top ten trade up for him. Then get me Dont'a Hightower.

Lets draft anything Alabama we can, then throw down some beers over grits and ham hocks.

Not just any grits. Cheese grits.

Kirkpatrick, Upshaw, Hightower, Harris, or Maze. I'll take any of them.

Love the way he plays\his potential but I think he could go as high as 5th to Tampa and I don't see him getting out of the top 10, he's just too talented and has too much potential to pass up on.

I like Kirkpatrick at FS, but not CB. Its weird. I love his physicality and instincts, but I question the athleticism. Hopefully he proves me wrong this week at the combine.

I don't want zone corners anymore. We should use Nnamdi and DRC properly and put them in man.

Nah. Very Happy

But seriously though, Kirkpatrick is arguably the number 2 CB and that could be a need if Asante gets traded. LB is a need and although I would like to address it via free agency, Hightower IMO is the best LB in the class.

If we weren't running the wide 9 and weren't fine at DE, I would want Courtney Upshaw.

Maze would be a decent mid to late round pickup. He is a good punt returner and an average receiver. Harris might be an UDFA but I think he'll make an NFL roster.

Basically what I'm trying to say is that all of those players with the exception of Upshaw would fill a void. With the exception of Maze they are all physical players. Not just physical but physical, talented, smart, and well coached. This defense could use some physicality. Which is why defenders from Alabama's defense should be a no brainer.

I don't think athleticism is an issue with Kirkpatrick. He's got great closing speed and speed in general. I think that's what make some people look at him as a safety. I see him as a very physical corner. He could maybe even play the role of the Charles Woodson position that the Eagles were trying to make Nnmadi last season.

I know some people put a lot into the combine but how much can you really tell about a football player's speed when he is running on a field with no pads on?

I would move Kirkpatrick to Safety to and tell him to go kill some one.

JUAN : "GO KILL NICKS, THANKS!"

Dre : "Really!!?" HELL YEAH!"

then he would go out there and destroy Nicks.

and we would drink beers.

Sign a free agent safety to take Coleman's spot. Then trade up for Kirkpatrick and have him develop in the NFL as the Charles Woodson hybrid position player. Kirkpatrick has all the tools to do it.

You know Kirkpatrick would be the type of player to just play to the fans with the Eagles Giants rivalry.

Just my opinion...
Character concerns.
Only 3 career INTs.
Durability, especiallygiven physical style of play.
Inconsistant ball reaction.

Mark Barron is the only Bama player I would Want the Eagles to Draft this year.
