I wonder if Juan will learn how to use Scrabble over the off season. _________________

Yeap, but Todd Bowles will hopefully play a larger role in gameplanning than Johnie Lynn did and with DRC and Nnamdi on the outside we will (hopefully) Juan will play like ~ 90% man. _________________

Mario and Cole would be fun to watch. I like Babin, but Mario is a different level. |
Who's gonna trade for Babin?
He only has value in the wide-9. Who runs a wide-9? Us and two other teams? | Detroit. |
They can't even afford to keep their own players, let alone bring in other costly free agents. |

St. Louis, Detroit, Tennessee may still run it, and any team needing a pass rush may take a chance depending on the price.
That said Mario kinda sucks against the run too. |
St. Louis does? Since when? I don't think Spags ran the wide-9, so this must be a recent change.
It makes no sense to trade Babin; he's at an affordable contract, is perfect for Washburn's scheme, he loves playing here, and had 18 sacks in his first year with numerous pressure and hits on top of that. So, what if he sucks against the run? He wasn't the real weakness in our D. |

I love that Jenkins restructered his contract. It means a lot considering he was on the team for but one year. His selflessness is refreshing among players who only care about themselves.
I believe this is a lot bigger than people realize, it shows that players are actually happy being here and want to see this project through. I think this team first attitude has been missed for a couple years now. _________________ Meow |

There may not have been a me first attitude, but there certainly not been a team first attitude since Donny left. _________________

I'd assume Fisher will run it in St. Louis considering its what he ran in Tennessee.
Its a moot point though, Babin's not going anywhere. Hopefully we add a DE that can stop the run on the strong side though because he's pretty bad as far as run D goes, that said a combined 30.5 sacks over the past 2 seasons is tough to replicate. _________________

Without Washburn, he might not. He got Giants old DL coach, Dave Waufle (or something like that), who as fare as I know have never run the wide 9. _________________

Juan will be in charge of getting the LBs onto the pitch and not having them fall over, that's about it. I think they'll use him to gameplan as he did when he was working on the O-Line.
Washburn will be in charge of getting pressure, which we proved we can do with 4. Bowles will basically play everyone in man, ideally with Nnamdi matching #1, DRC #2 and Hanson in the slot.
If we could get another LB who can actually tackle we'll be fine.
Once the game starts, Juan can go pick up Andy's cheesesteaks. _________________

There may not have been a me first attitude, but there certainly not been a team first attitude since Donny left. |
There have been plenty of me first guys since the Superbowl. Just 2 years ago Mikell called out guys in the media and said that the Eagles had guys that cared only about their individual accolades. They've since removed everyone (Demps, Jones, Witherspoon..to name a few), but they still lacked a team first attitude. Perhaps those days are over.
Jenkins restructuring his contract is a very good sign. One that shouldn't be overlooked. _________________ Meow |

It's not just "me first" and "team first" black/white contrast here.
There are "me first" guys who are visible and vocal about it (TO, Jackson, Samuel) and obviously there are a lot of guys who choose to keep quiet about it for obvious reasons and wouldn't budge from their current contracts or wouldn't really want to sacrifice anything for the good of the team.
Guys like Dawkins could have gotten much more money in free agency but always stuck with the team for a discount to try and win it all. And as he said, "respect isn't given it is earned."
Jenkins earns some respect here. _________________
