What are y'all's thoughts on Fred Davis if Finley can't be had? _________________

Not sure how he has developed as a blocker but I liked him coming out of USC. Good athlete just don't think TB will address the position with Coffman and Stocker all under contact now. |

Actually watched him a little this year. Had him on one of my fantasy teams, dude balled out with scrubs throwing to him and no other targets to take the pressure off of him. I would love to have him but considering he was busted for smoke this year, I don't see a way we pulled the trigger. Also read somewhere that this Skins are thinking of tagging him. _________________

I think it's actually a good, low-risk signing. It beats wasting a draft pick on a TE. The guy was pretty good in college. He won the Mackey award and was an all-american. _________________

Don't say "a wasted pick". Is te further down the list of needs... maybe, if we landed the next Graham or Gronk with the pick I don't think many people would be saying "wasted that darn pick on Gronk" _________________

Ok... I guess I'll rephrase that. It's good that now we can address other needs in the draft. _________________

Any player who speaks out publicly about that is just a moron. I don't want him at that price. |
I don't think it's that big of a deal, he's an elite guard.
Imagine you and a co-worker are great at your job, your salaries are public knowledge, and he's making more than you despite maybe you being better at it. If some radio show is talking to you about it, is it that crazy you'd say something like that? |
A true professional doesn't air there "dirty laundry" towards the public. That should be something discussed between him and his agent. To me, that just says he's a greedy player.
Listen, of course everyone of these guys desire is to get paid. Just don't speak out there frustrations of it on a radio show. That's the agent's job.
I honestly don't think we should be paying both Joseph, Penn, and Nicks almost 10 million a year each. Grubbs might be a better option, in my opinion, at a better value. |

How many NFL players are true professionals?
Ravens fans will tell you Grubbs isn't that good. Nicks is so far ahead of him it's crazy. I don't mind if our team is spending the most on OL, DL and QB in the next few years. _________________

Why is everyone so high on this guy. The way I see this signing is Winslow might get cut for cap reasons and I know we have a ton of room.... _________________

If we get an off-season of this:
- LB David Hawthorne/Lofton or Connor
- CB Brandon Carr or Finnegan
- G Grubbs or Nicks
- Possibly a bargain WR such as Eddie Royal
We can immediately hit this in the draft:
1st: T-Rich
2nd: Trade down, then select Leonard Johnson or Trumaine Johnson
3rd: Ladarius Green TE
3rd or 4th: (trade down): Jarius Wright.
I think we address LB in FA and maybe add depth in the later rounds of the draft. I think Black/Watson get the opportunity to battle it out for the SLB position. Black was solid in 2010, he really declined last year, maybe a more disciplined coaching staff can get the best out of these 2 again. |

I believe that if we cut Winslow we actually save $0 towards the cap. I thought i had read that somewhere. I'll take a look and get back to you on that. _________________

I don't want to cut K2 and assume Coffman is the answer. _________________
