I'm into a bidding war with the Bengals for Brisiel and the Bills for Trufant. I'm not willing to pay for both.
Input on which one I should stick with? _________________ Welcome to Houston, DeAndre Hopkins! |

Trufant.
Btw, apologies for mis-calculating the time for the Brisiel bid. Been fighting the flu all weekend, so I'm half drugged up at the moment... _________________

we need Brisiel, but if we lose him we can have our pick of the best Guard in the draft _________________

Okay, well we need to keep in mind that he's only a ZBS guard. I'm not going to commit a ton of cap space just to keep a guard here.
On that note, though, even if we lose Brisiel, I am not in favor of drafting someone like DeCastro early. The entire point of running this system is so that we don't have to commit huge investments to linemen. Caldwell is a step down, and we would obviously draft another guard in the middle rounds... but I'm not willing to pay a ton for a guard. _________________ Welcome to Houston, DeAndre Hopkins! |

No, lol.
We're just waiting for the draft now. I almost finished the big board/scouting report. I'll have that up and share it with everyone here soon.
Scouts,
Please have your reports in by Monday, February 27. _________________ Welcome to Houston, DeAndre Hopkins! |
