That's all fine and good, but the owners have the final word in moving a team. It will happen sooner or later.

as an update, the Vikings are making painstakingly slow, but noticeable, progress toward convincing the state legislature and the Minneapolis City Council to partially fund a $975 million stadium. the funding package would include a $425 million input from the Vikings.

the new stadium would be built next door to the present MetroDump and would be 75% complete by the time the Dome would have to be torn down, necessitating a one year season at the Univ of Minn college stadium.

No chance that ever gets passed. The 511 building is virtually untouchable.

The NFL is the owners.
If they really want to stop someone moving they will.

To be fair, this doesnt really say anything for sure.

Also, I am of the opinion that Florida doesnt deserve 3 football teams. They arent an overly large state and a lot of their residents are removed from elsewhere in the country.

And if they really want a team (and Super Bowl site) in Los Angeles, they will make that happen.

I don't care if the Rams/Vikings/Jaguars/whoever moves to Los Angeles but I'd have to think the NFL will want a team there sooner rather than later if a stadium gets built.

Let me just take this opportunity to say the economics of stadium building is so dumb.

The Colts are paying on two stadiums right now...one of them doesn't even exist anymore...

Goddel is saying this because his goal is too increase the number of team. And even talks of a team in London.

Expanding overseas and adding additional teams will kill the product IMO. Oversaturate the markets with football and kill it.

Things are great right now. Balanced conferences, 16 meaningful games. The NFL is a hot product. If they get greedy and start expanding for the sake of money, they will ruin things.

Where do people hear this? Not saying it isn't true but I'm interested in if this is actual serious talk. If there is EVER a team in London, it will fail miserably because the team will suck. Nobody is going to want to play there.

Not gonna change anything, everyone will assume that Jacksonville is going to LA until they actually do.
