I read this at Walter football, anyone familiar. They have us trading with Cleveland getting both 1st.

In 2011, Blackmon had 121 receptions for 1,522 yards and 18 touchdowns. The junior recorded big games against two of the better teams he faced in Texas A&M and Kansas State. Blackmon finished his career as the Fiesta Bowl offensive MVP with a massive performance against Stanford, despite playing with a leg infection. He is a game-changer and looks like a young Terrell Owens.
Blackmon could have been a first-rounder in 2011, but decided to return to the Cowboys. He was a dynamite playmaker in 2010, producing 1,782 yards on 111 catches with 20 touchdowns, while being extremely consistent. Blackmon had more than 100 yards receiving in every game he played that season. The one game he missed was because of a DUI arrest. Blackmon has also been actively working with a child-cancer charity. |

Chase Minnifield is an underrated prospect. After notching two interceptions per season as a freshman and sophomore, he broke out with six picks in 2010. Minnifield also had 48 tackles with one sack and four passes broken up. The 6-foot, 185-pounder can contribute as a punt returner as well.
Minnifield's numbers declined as a senior since most teams threw away from him. In 2011, he totaled three interceptions plus 50 tackles, seven tackles for a loss, 1.5 sacks and eight passes broken up. His last interception was returned 54 yards for a touchdown. Minnifield has the ability to function as a man or zone corner. He is a gritty, instinctive player. That could stem from his bloodlines. The 5-foot-10, 175-pounder has a lot of speed and could be a good slot receiver and return man in the NFL |

| I hate it. We don't need two cornerbacks. I don't understand why mock drafts have us drafting cornerbacks. We have Ron Bartell, Bradley Fletcher, Jerome Murphy, and Josh Gordy. I know that they have injuries and all but they should be fine. We also could sign Corteland Finnegan. I like first round picks only. |

Bartell is a big candidate to be cut.
Fletcher is my favorite player but cant stay healthy
Murphy is un proven , best known for physicality
I can't see our FO paying a dumb amount of money on a DB knowing we can get one in round 2 or even Mo Clay in round 1

| I think we cut Bartell and save a lot of money. We use that money and a little more to sign Corteland Finnegan. |

Adding ONE Corner with an early pick isnt a bad idea, but 2 CBs is just asinine.
I dont understand how we started Tony Wragge at Center for more than half the season, but all these guys who run Draft Sites dont understand how big of a need Ceter is to this team.
Im still not a fan of Blackmon that high, he seems like a nice receiver but not a Top 5 talent one. (more like a Santonio Holmes or Hakeem Nicks, so later 1st) Would MUCH rather Grab Morris Claiborne there.
Brockers at 22 is very unlikely that he falls that far. But if we make this trade and he is there, he is a great fit, and a steal of talent that late. Perfet DT for what Fisher likes to do. But Peter konz going right after him is a guy who I like almost as much.
Minnifield is a decent CB, but if we would grab Claiborne where we should then we wouldnt need him. Zack Brown is an OK option at 33, but I would happily reach a bit for David Wilson to be the compliment to Sjax. Or a guy who I feel is very underrated right now in Brandon Washington as our new LG would be great.
If a CB at #33 isnt a good pick, there they arent in the 3rd either. One of the Big WRs would be really nice here. Marvin McNutt would be an AMAZING pick at the top of the 3rd. I think could be a great WR in the NFL. Hill out of Georgia Tech would be a decent option too, and if we had to settle for Dwight Jones it wouldnt be the worst pick.
I wouldnt mind adding both McNutt and Hilton (alot like last year, but better talents) but if we wouldnt want to do that (or signed a #1 WR) then a guard type with the potential to be the contingency plan at RT like Levy Adcock would be a nice pick. or one of the OLBs like Keenan Robinson or Sean Spence would be nice pickups. |

I too saw this mock today, but i highly disliked it. I agree that back to back corners is terrible. Not to mention in this mock dennard is available and we pass for a different corner?? No.

| Tommy Streeter WR from Miami would be a great option in the third or fourth round. He is very raw but has a giant ceiling. He has Calvin Johonson size with great speed. His route running isn't the best. Love streeter as a prospect. |

Streeter is nothing like calvin johnson, he is just as tall but a twig compared to calvin. I wouldnt mind streeter but not that early.

lol oopsie........ I want Blackmon or Claibourne. If we only get one WR in FA (either retain Lloyd or he walks and sign someone else) then our pick will be the best WR available...Justin Blackmon.

| If we can get brown's 2 picks I prefer we get Kalil at 4th pick and Kendall wright-WR-Baylor with 22nd pick. We just got 2 very good players at position that we need. |

Wright has problems beating press that's a problem.
