Cause he mention himself almost ever time he has talked about Moss. Like he made Moss or something. When Carter first started working for ESPN thats all he ever talked about was him mentoring Moss. what Carter said was true and what Moss said was true. Mentors dont bash their guys in public especially if he is suppose to be a friend. |

every person on espn that comes from the pros talks about personal experience. what is carter supposed to do when moss comes up just sit there an smile? of course hes going to talk about he mentored him. because people want to know personal experience. its a better look at whats going on.
he didnt even bash him. he was just saying the truth. if they were friends then he should know it was advice on to not quit. he wasnt like dont sign him hes just a big old quitter. he just said that moss has a problem with just quitting. he has a problem with it that he fixed in NE and needs to keep that with him.
they are friends so he should know that carter isnt trying to bash him.

Seriously. The worse thing somebody can do if you play any kind of sport is call you a quitter. He didnt just call him a quitter he called him the biggest quitter he ever seen. You really thing that was necessary. He also said a team needs to address that before they sign him. If one of my friends told people Im trying to get a job from that they need to address some issuses before hiring me, Im probably going to say something crazy to or about my friend to. |

well he is. i mean if he wasnt a quitter then i would see a problem with it but thats hes only problem. he also said that on NE he wasnt a quitter. it wasnt a he has this huge flaw that cant be fixed. he was just stating that you need to make that you can push him to play.
but the difference from your analogy and whats going on is that your friends job isnt to analyze you. if your job was to tell people if someone is a good worker or not and they asked you about your friend who spits in customers soup, shows up high, or what ever you cant just go "o ya hes the bomb" just because your friend is to sensitive to take the criticism.

It isn't wrong for Carter to say that, but if someone said that about you(if you were in Moss' shoes) it would irk you too. Neither one of them are really wrong for saying what they said.
